Quite a climb up the hill but that’s how you get an excellent view. Shower in our luxury room bit 1970’s. Otherwise lovely.

Great location above the harbour. Our balcony was excellent. Staff at hotel really friendly and helpful. Local busses stop very near hotel.

Minor issue, after cleaning, we were down one towel and a bath mat.

Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely view. Stunning room. Breakfast service was amazing. Food was great. Staff at the top restaurant was exceptional when we went for cocktails

Less musak, dreadful dreary soul destroying and too loud. I've worked with R.stones, Motorheard Ac/dc, Kylie and many many others so used to loud Music.

Shower on the first night was cold. staff said that it was due to many people showering at the same time

The underground parking is a disaster to enter we almost crashed our car. It’s very sharp and steep turn to enter at least the management should put padding and protectors at the walls as we saw many scratches of unsuccessful turns made. Additional sign to warn the guest should be put!

We've liked everything about our stay, clean spacious room with an amazing view of the port. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of choices and we have also used room service both the food and service were good. We will revisit.

Unavoidable stairs to get to the room. Parking area is difficult to enter and exit from.

Everything, they were accommodating, the breakfast was plentiful, the room service menu and services was very affordable, overall a wonderful experience.

Mushrooms were only available for breakfast on the final day of our stay. Nothing really negative to feedback. He found that we were held up at reception passing through with too many questions and conversation. That's his lack of patience not the fault of friendly staff alone at the desk.

Really pleasant stay in a charming convenient location to get to and from and see the island. Easy to access free parking beneath the hotel. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of various fresh cold and hot foods as a buffet. Option to have breakfast outside in the sunshine 🌞 Comfortable and clean room efficiently cleaned whilst at breakfast on days requested.

We could not get English speaking films on Netflix/Prime so watched a couple of episodes of 'The Crown' in French !! Not a real problem for us as we could read instead.

The room had a terrace which overlooked the ferry terminal and harbour so always something to watch ! The bed was comfortable and room spacious. The breakfast was very good and the evening meals also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The garage, a nightmare not only to get in and out but very space limited at times. Breakfast items sometimes a little strange, for example chips on one day, peas and sweetcorn on another. The coffee machines would spout boiling water at times. The Grand is obviously a very old hotel and a bit past its best, shower a nightmare to adjust, one second boiling hot and the next freezing cold and the toilet needing two or three flushes. Some of the furniture was looking a bit worn with frayed edges on the chairs.

Service was excellent and very friendly. Room size was enormous, view was good, especially watching the 5 hour queue on Sundays when it seemed the population of Malta was trying to get home.

Would have liked some vegetarian sausages for breakfast. Complicated route to 6th floor in new building.

Soundproofing of the doors to the corridors was poor and the kitchen/bathroom equipment should be renewed. The parking facility is not comfortable. The entrance to the garages area is very narrow and steep.

A few small minor things: our son's bed wasn't there when we got to the room so had to request it afterwards. Bath towels were nowhere to be found when we were to have a bath. The bathroom is a bit outdated. 4* might a bit of a stretch.

Staff and location. On site parking was handy. Overall a decent hotel. Staff was quite polite.
