The number of older men hanging around and their dominance of kitchen and then leaving it dirty. The unlocked front door and seemingly no staff (except the cleaners) gave it the feel of a boarding house.

Value for money, cleaning staff and location. I had a tiny single bedroom with a cold shower but it was great. Each morning the kitchen was sparkling but the seemingly permanent males left a mess.

There were no keys when we arrived, although we were told that this would be the case. Ultimately we slept on sofas next to the 'reception'. It was really really cold over night and there were no available toilets at all. We should have better stayed at the airport for this night.

There are no regulations (anti-disturbance) displayed in the Rooms and some Spanish guests smoked , drank and listened to loud music all night long , preventing others from sleeping .

The rooftop was missing furniture and the shelter was stripped. Sound echoes through the whole building, not good for light sleepers.

Not clean, everywhere was, in every corner something dirty, cleaner clean one time of all week only bathroom, every day remove only trash🤷‍♀️. That isn’t OK. In room no wifi, no heating or Air conditioning, in bathroom none hot water. Over winter will be very uncomfortable for stay , for summer days we can use cold water for showering. No reception and security 🥲

I like old building, room was quite, not overbooking, we had comfort, there were nice girls. Very important things are good and quality guests for living. Tooftop terrace is good thing with 2 sunbeds and chairs and 2 tables there was wifi, Elevator nice thing too, lobby had wifi and comfort. There is manager for communication. They answered at question at booking

The light in the kitchen did not work the entire time. People staying there before me said they also complained for days. WhenI mentioned it to two separate workers in different days, they said they’d fix it but never did. You have to use your phone as a flashlight to cook or else you can’t see when there’s no daylight. Also bring a lighter or matches to light the stove or else you won’t eat. The drainage system in the bathroom is horrible and people like to put away dirty dishes as if they’re clean. There were ants everywhere in the kitchen everyday and the lady that work there acted as if she didn’t see them until I had to say something.

The hostel is very close to the bus stop.

Sharing one bathroom with 8 women was complicated (but we managed). You had to make the bed yourself (bed sheets provided)

The way that the shared rooms had the beds somehow separated two by two. Big lockers and good location very close to bus stops. Nice terrace upstairs (but be aware of mosquitoes).

iThe room were clean ,the kitchen was so so .Our bathroom-curtains were very dirty I asked them to get cleaned but they said it’s done once.Some people used to come and go and some said they don’t stay there .

The location was superb as many amenities surrounded it made it getting around easily.The roof top terrace was amazing I enjoyed relaxing there with my new made friends while eating .

At reception no one will be there , for certain period of time they will come and go . If you have anything to ask no one will be there around . All self service They should keep extra cooking stuffs .

Poor water pressure in shower & bathroom sink. Dirty bedroom floor needed a thorough clean before it could be walked on.

The rooms don’t have AC, at least mine didn’t, there were 2 fans but they weren’t enough for the 35 C weather in Malta. I also didn’t like that you had to hold to hold the shower over your head, it was uncomfortable. Apart from that, there was not soap In the bathroom which frustrated me because I like to wash my hands after going to the toilet so I had to use hand sanitizer all the time. Also the door of my locker was broken, I saw that this was only the case for me because the other ones were perfectly fine (i’m just saying).

The location was cool for me because it was like 2 min away from a bus stop and it was also super close to the beach and nice restaurants.

No AC... the really noise and unfriendly older guy who was with his son at my dormitory gray 1 room. First night was really the worst night... he was snorring a lot(but this is the smallest problem) ... he was eating trought the night, he vas smashing the platic bottle trought the night, he was praying with the sheets on his back in the middle of the dormitory 2 time trought the night, he was aeakenig his son and they had an argument trought the night, then put the sheets on the floor and sleep on the floor in the middle of dormitory..then again waking up and fix the bed and sitting and drinking the some pills.. then again waking up his son and talking with him ...and after this hole performance ... i told them that I wasn t sleep whole night becouse of them... and the son was agresively walk direct to my face and said me To stop talk to them and to have my one buisnes...the son was left that morning but the old guy is still..and the older guy said and mocking that in this hostel is no tourists (becouse he was every mornig go to work at 4.30-5.30h ). I write this to menager , but he was answer me that is no People who works in my dormitory. So that was my expirience my first night... really rough 😬
