The property is in a great location, 5 minutes from the beach and restaurants. The whole property is extremely clean and tidy, well looked after and the pool area is relaxing and comfortable. Josef was an extremely kind and accommodating host. We didn’t want to leave!

The best place in he area. No lie. Secluded, quiet, accessible. A short stroll to all the restaurant and the bay and perfectly located for all the walks and the bus. The pool is super and the grounds luxurious. The host works hard at this and it shows. The room is in an amazing traditional villa and has everything you need to cater for yourself. So much space. The host is always available if needed.

The one minor point that didn't live up to our expectation was that the stove is not really set up to cook major meals, it works but is not the best thing. It didn't bother us given that there are great food options in Xlendi so we only used it the first night to heat up a chicken pot pie after arriving late.

The apartment is split into two floors, with two bedrooms at the entrance level, with a bathroom as well. The living space is all up one staircase, with the kitchen and living room and the magnificent rooftop terrace which not only offers a great outdoor living area but also a sunning terrace, bbq and gorgeous view out the bay.

There is no much in the way of views, but that is not the property's fault, just a consequence of over building in Gozo.

This has been one of the greatest places we've been so far and we've travelled a lot. Great location, very spacious, charming and clean apartment with everything one might need, lovely pool... Bathroom was functional but a little small, as was the lounge. But we managed fine as 2 couples and spent most of our time on the terrace or down at the beach.

Joseph (host) was really friendly and helpful. Often around but responded quickly to messages. Location was great, uphill (short) walk from town/beach, but not unsurprising for Gozo/Xlendi. Great to have access to the pool, rarely saw guests in the other apartments. The terrace in our penthouse as perfect and was so large it meant we didn't really mind the smaller lounge/dining area as we lived out there!

Amazing stay! Great location, super friendly hosts. The atmosphere is so unique. I visited Gozo just because of this apartment and don’t regret do a moment. And as for solo traveling woman, i felt safe there. Highly recommend ☺️

Our host Josef was amazing, so friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our apartment 2 hours early and he did everything to make our stay as comfortable and good as possible. Our apartment was a great size and we had a fabulous view of the sunset from our large terrace. Josef was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to visit on Gozo that we wouldn’t otherwise have found. Overall, a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable apartment, lovely pool and extremely clean. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Villa Xemxija! The apartment is located just a short walk to the centre and the beach front. The apartment has everything for a perfect stay, the kitchen is fully equipped and very clean. The owner gives you a very heartful welcome and great advices where to go. He was one of the best hosts we ever had! We loved the pool and the flair of the villa. It is almost downtown but very calm. Xemxija itself is a lovely spot with different beaches, flat ones and riffs. There are lots of amenities like canoeing, renting a boat, diving and a big variety of restaurants in all price-classes. A great place to stay!

Great place - wish we’d stayed longer!

This place is awesome! The location is perfect - a small village and the villa is just a short walk to great restaurants and swimming. The villa has a really nice pool that my kids loved. The property is really well maintained and the kitchen included everything you could need. There is a mini market a short walk away or just take a taxi (Bolt) to Lidl to get whatever you need. Jozef was super helpful and provided great tips and recommendations. Take the reviews about air conditioning with a grain of salt - the set up is a smart, ecological move on the villa’s part to conserve energy. It’s more of a timer. We ended up needing less than five euros during a week in August heat. This place is a gem! We plan to return!
