We had a good/bright room and a big balcony with a beautiful view over the sea and cliffs. The location is excellent in a quiet neighborhood, but only minutes walk away from the beautiful bay with many restaurants. The owners are kind and sociable. We enjoyed our morning conversations during breakfast with George and Maria. Just keep in mind this is a guesthouse, not a hotel. So, for example, don't expect the room to be daily serviced and the bed has sheets and a blanket, not a duvet. But instead you will experience the warm hospitality of a local family. Thank you Anna, George and Maria.

If I had to find something that would be a coffee. I'm a coffee fan, and an instant coffee is a little too much. I'd say a filter machine would do the trick. I'd say prepare more of the homemade stuff on the buffet, as they were running out very quickly. They were trying to stock it up at a later stage but were often too busy with cleaning and setting new tables, and serving fresh toast and eggs. Still none of this is a big problem, considering how the breakfast feels, when you can talk to the family.

Friendliness of the owners, always there to help, to talk, give directions, and fully dedicated. Great location, beautiful views (at least from the room with a sea view), 5min walking from the Xlendi bay. Clean, dry, and cozy room same as a bathroom. A small kitchen is available in the corridor, with a sink, microwave, fridge, and plates, I was missing only a cutting board and knife. B-fast very tasty, as you'd have at your granny's with homemade marmalade, Maltese cheese and eggs, served by the family :) A limited choice, might not be a problem during a week-long stay, but it could be during a longer stay.

There was a little lack of detail in the rooms eg no tumblers in the bathroom, only one pillow per person and only one spare. The bed was hard which we personally found uncomfortable. The only hot option at breakfast is eggs (variety of) so if you’re allergic to eggs your breakfast is limited. But all said it is a great place to stay!

We really liked the location being a little out of town, so quiet and peaceful. The walk to town wasn’t far and it is enjoyable along the coast path. We liked the two pools that had lots of sunbeds (although some are broken), very pleasant for a lazy day and we even managed a swim! The hosts/owners George & Maria are very friendly and hospitable. We had a magnificent view from our balcony with the most amazing sunset views. This alone was worth the stay! There are communal fridges where you can chill your own wine/beer/food. It is excellent value for money so I shouldn’t grumble about anything.

Weird chlorine smell everywhere, good they clean with chlorine, but would be nice to mix with something which smells good. A bit noisy. A tip during breakfast, would be nice to put the coffee in a big coffee dispenser, whoever wants goes and pours.. no need to wait for hosts to refill :)

A small bar fridge would be nice to keep drinks cold but I was aware of this when I booked, so it wasn't an issue. The sliding doors to my balcony were a little bit difficult to use - perhaps the salt air affected their smooth operation, but again, this wasn't too much of an issue and overall I really enjoyed my stay.

A great place to stay in Xlendi with very friendly and helpful hosts in George and Maria. The location was excellent, just a short walk up the hill from the harbour with its many cafes & restaurants. I had a lovely room with a balcony and a view to the ocean. There was a good range of food at breakfast, including eggs cooked to order. Would definitely recommend staying at San Antonio Guesthouse.

There is no lift (for the elderly) but it was not a problem for us since both our rooms were on the groundfloor level.

Just notice there is a short steep way to get from the center to the accommodation.

A simple but lovely place for a few days. I really enjoyed the view to the sea. The hosts are really nice and helpful if you have any questions. The center is just 5min walking distance away.
