Only option for all inclusive was a buffet. The a la crate fish restaurant was wonderful however it was expensive .

The staff were par excellence! Nothing was too much trouble. It may not be 4 Star but it felt like 5 star treatment !

Very friendly and helpful and polite staff. That made our trip better. Food -all inclusive buffet - mixture of national kitchen and international. Many options to choose from and if you had a request no problem to prepare it. Water sports available most of tbem free of charge. Beach towels given each day Drinks and food testing done in the resort too. For those with kids there was a center with nannies who would take care of them Spa - 15 min free massage given as a welcome present If arriving early, bags are taken and stored until room is available. Shower provided to freshen up Lunch box can be provided if out for a day trip

The rooms need to be cleaned properly. I picked up that the cleaning is done upharzardly.....hotel should monitor and train cleaning staff

We loved everything about Veranda. Their service at reception is exceptional. Yashveer & Shuaib are fabulous. The executive chef especially prepared an entire veg feast for my husband and I. All we requested was some dhall curry:-)....we felt so special with this gesture from the kitchen. Chef Lindsay makes the best omlette....with loads of love in it. The entertainment every night was fun n fabulous....great music n moves from DJ Clive. Overall it was money well spent. We booked an all inclusive package. We will definitely be back

Only a certain lack of sunbeds and beach umbrellas for later arrivals to the beach, which can be considered by the hotel management. However, we go to the beach early so it wasn't a problem for us.

Veranda Palamar Beach Hotel is the best choice in terms of value for money on the whole island of Mauritius. Nice and clean room, lovely yard, amazing beach, very tasty food and outstanding staff. I don't know the basis of some negative reviews about this hotel. If they want more luxury, they should go to the more expensive neighboring Lux Belle Mare, but there the price is completely different. And I'm not sure they'll get that much more. In Veranda you have the feeling of calmness, security and an almost homely atmosphere, which is missing in big hotels. Thank you dear people for our wonderful holiday.

The bathroom, wasnt the best one, was so so. Humidity did its job after the years, but you dont live there so its ok.

Very nice, small and calm place with such a beautifull beach. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Very nice staff allways ready to help and give you the best from them. Good food but we would appreciate more often sea food. Overall we had enough food and drinks. Lots of activities on the Beach as well on the sea. We fell in love to these two strays (dogs) staying around hotel. Would appreciate to give them water and smthg small to eat, they would be greatfull 🙏🐾🌞

Very nice hotel on north east. Beach next to this hotel is nice and peacefull. Hotel offer many activities included - snorkeling (you don't need your equipments), glass boat, cooking workshop, live music/dj (every evening).
