probably in most Maledivian resorts - sustainability could be better... use of solar power instead of diesel generators

Perfect stay in paradise! very child-friendly facilities (baby cot free of charge for under 2 year old kids, baby seats in all restaurants, shop with all necessary items like diapers,...) and staff, great food (also for toddlers), very clean and well taken care of. sharks, turtles and everything else just a swim away on the house reef :-) great diving school as well! and fresh water bottles every day in the rooms!

One of the most best resorts that I have ever tried in my life , very quite, staff are polite and helpful, very very clean place inside and outside the room , I saw the staff cleaning outdoor area twice a day. my son who is 5 years old had a really great time at the kids club, the staff are really friendly and my son get attached to them, he was bringing with him everyday a new activity and he was excited to go there to play with the other kids. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful resort with very friendly, helpful staff. We celebrated our anniversary with a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach. Our waiter was amazing, he was very attentive and happily took lots of photos for us. When we returned to our room, the bed was beautifully decorated with leaves and flowers. Just perfect! We will definitely recommend Maldives as a little slice of paradise. We will be back!

The property was well kept, has awesome amenities, buffet was plentiful, and restaurants were excellent. We loved the dive shop, instructors were talented and friendly. The island has a medical clinic with dive chamber of needed. I loved the marine life and living reef surrounding. Incredible the marine life we encountered!! And to top it off, our three loved the kids clubhouse so much she is still talking about the “mickey mouse clubhouse”. Wish we didnt have to leave after 6 days of heaven!

Nothing apart from the guests who were very noisy but that is no reflection on the hotel.

A really lovely place, so relaxing and lots to explore. The wildlife was incredible and we loved just walking around. The room was lovely, staff were very friendly and the food tasted great and was different every day. There was also a good variety of tours available.

The all-inclusive options, discounts and timing where it is included and where not, are a bit random and unclear. Streamlining would be useful. The air-conditioning in the room is blowing quite strongly, which we don't like and it was not really possible to adjust.

Very friendly staff, free upgrade to a premium beach villa, beautiful room, very nice food and gorgeous views and landscaping of the island. Great experience and kids-friendly.

I’d love if the kids and babies are fully charged as adults! For a limited land space on a such a large distance they were way too many. Not only you have to listen their cry on 10h flight but you end up with them on small island. I’d prefer if there are not that many babies and kids crying and screaming. You hardly could avoid them and honestly they don’t match with the atmosphere at all. It’s just not the right resort in all means for babies ! I doubt kids are happy there either ! Sometimes you feel you are on a playground in the bar or dinner or just reading your book on the beach! It’s just wrong ! Besides that it’s a great and exclusive place !

The only minus I would mention is the food, which is local cuisine (Indian/Asian), which I'm not a fan of, but that's more a matter of personal taste than a real shortcoming of the hotel.

If the Maldives itself was not enough, the hotel exceeds all expectations. The rooms are large, clean with a very comfortable bed. Twice a day they clean the room and change towels, both for the beach and for the shower. The island is surrounded by a coral reef, so you can see a lot of brightly colored fish. The resort has many bars, fitness, tennis, diving, etc., so you can laze in the shade under a palm tree or have a very active vacation.

The reefs are absolutely amazing. Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but it is super clean and service is excellent. Food is very good - everything is labeled - super for anyone with allegations.

Easily accessible from the airport in Male, the boat picks you up directly in front of the terminal and you are there in 15 minutes. The dive centre was probably the best run I have encountered in 30 years of diving. Free Nitrox, water and fruit provided between dives, excellent safety standards (there’s even a hyperbaric chamber on the island) very professional staff, fantastic diving and a very large centre with all the facilities you could hope for. I really enjoyed diving with these guys. The resort itself is everything you would expect from a luxury Maldivian holiday. It isn’t cheap, but compared to the costs of other resorts, Bandos represents exceptional value for money. I spent most evenings enjoying a cocktail and dinner on the beach deck bar surrounded by the ocean and ambient lighting, followed by some great live music in the main hall. The staff a super friendly and reception very efficient at organising anything you might need. This was a special once in a lifetime holiday and I wasn’t disappointed.

Not much of sea food with the buffets but there is a specialty restaurant for those willing to pay extra.

We had a great stay at Bandos . It is a beautiful tropical island very close to Male city and everything was well organised on our arrival.. The room was cosy and clean and overall very good service. We enjoyed staying at the beach surrounded by palm trees and gorgeous views of the ocean. Just few steps from the room and you are on the beach. We had half board and we found the food satisfying. Evenings are chilled with some live music and we witnessed great sunsets but the best was the warmth of the water and snorkeling for which you didn't have to go far.

We had hoped for a quiet room, but the flights from the nearby airport begin around 7.00 am each day. In the evening the music from the bar/cabaret lounge, thumps from 8.30 until after 11.00 pm. The food is seriously lacking a European chef! There was European food on the menu but it was not cooked by a person who knows how and what it should taste like. We had hoped to sit at the pier and see the sea life but we were told it was moved last year and now it stands above very shallow water so there's no chance of seeing the large lemon sharks or manta rays, that are abundant around the Maldives.

The beach and location are picture postcards, truly wonderful. There were ample sun loungers, so you didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to put your towel out and claim one. The staff were always helpful.

Only the cost really but the Maldives are expensive, oh and the cocktails were undrinkable, not sure if it was the spirit used or poor fruit juices, Mocktails though were OK

Bandos is great, staff wonderfully friendly, the foods not bad, rooms nice a spacious, lovely beach areas and grounds, good size island which probably takes 40 minutes to walk around and the snorkelling is spectacular

It was my second time on Bandos and the fifth on Maldives. + Amazing food + So friendly staff \I want to mention Harish\ + Beautiful reef for snorkeling + Very clean villas + The island is big enough for walks + You may see baby sharks, stingrays and many other beautiful fishes
