Everything was great, some drawers to unpack our clothes in to (in addition to cupboard space) would have been helpful. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.

Everything! The resort far exceeded my expectations. We are very glad we picked this bigger island as we were never short of things to do. We stayed in a water villa which was beautiful, waking up to unparalleled views of the ocean each morning and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was something I will not forget. All the restaurants were so tasty and service was great. The island is beautiful, with stunning snorkelling and great excursions. We were pleasantly surprised that it never felt that busy, and we often had whole areas to ourselves. There are so many areas to relax in and you will never feel crowded The buggy service was brilliant Housekeeping team were brilliant, our room was always tidy clean and well stocked We visited the spa which was beautiful and very relaxing Great informative app which was helpful during our stay

A lot of plastic on the island and in the sea. More should be done to protect the island. Maybe impose big fines to tourists how do not dispose of their plastic accordingly.

Getting about the island was very difficult, we had to wait for buggies in the rain for a very long time, biggies almost never came to the place where we stayed. We were also asked to go in person to the Watersports centre in the rain to cancel our boat, which was a bit ridiculous. Most facilities seemed a bit dated, furniture etc. That’s why not great value for money.

We didn’t have the money to go by sea plane and had to rely on the boats. On arrival we were lucky enough to only have to wait an hour, but on departure we had to wait 6 hours at the airport. Speedboats left the property at 6, 9 and 14:30, it would have been nice to get more out of the last day with a speedboat departure between 9 and 14:30.

Beautifully and remotely located, takes about an hour to reach in a fast speedboat. Well maintained rooms with everything you need. Transport was very well arranged both when arriving and when leaving. We had a water villa which was very good value for money, a spacious room with room for an extra bed and a very large bathroom. The bathroom was also accessible from the patio of the villa to shower off saltwater after snorkeling. Snorkeling opportunities were good right outside the room, and we saw a lot of reef sharks. Food was excellent and varied, I highly recommend booking at least full board. If you like to drink a lot go for all inclusive, but we didn’t reach that even when drinking to our hearts content. Excursions are available, and the ones we went on were very well arranged with excellent guides who cared a lot both for the guests and the marine life.

There is a buggy to take you to different parts of the island, which you have to wait for, you dont normally have to wait long normally 15 minutes max, and if you are lucky one comes in a minute or 2, but you can walk anywhere on the island in 20 minutes. I would have preferred to have bikes for the guests to use.

Food was excellent and facilities on the island were excellent (pools etc)

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Kuramathi. This is a fabulous resort and island and being able to snorkel on the reef right from our “Over the Water Villa with Pool” was incredible. There are two people that we would like to especially mention as they helped make our stay as wonderful as it was. Sama is the head chef of the Farivalhu restaurant and due to our dietary restrictions, he personally showed us what was safe for us to eat for each meal. Not only did he make sure we ate safely but he made us special desserts for each lunch and dinner as we were unable to eat the deserts that were offered. The other person who we would like to thank is Yazdhann who cleaned our villa twice a day. He really did an excellent job and was friendly, polite and thoughtful. We highly recommend Kuramathi Island Resort.

Amazing location with great infrastructure with much choice for the villas, restaurants, bars, etc and many facilities for sport activities, snorkeling, etc. Staff is very professional and pleasant, we particularly liked the Laguna bar and friendly staff (with a special mention for barmen Samka and waitress Rima.

Speedboat transfer was more like a 100 seat ferry rather than one of the small speedboats often seen around Malé. A small beer costs $10, and the mini-bar price for 200ml of Jura Whisky is ridicules at $223 (i.e. about £900/Litre). Vodka was $179/500ml

Maybe little be too big for romantic vacation.

My stay at Kuramathi resort in the Maldives was extremely satisfying. The destination is perfect for relaxation and water sports enthusiasts. The island is designed as a single resort but divided into three parts with their own restaurants. The main restaurants offer diverse and delicious food that caters to different tastes. Despite some smaller restaurants being outside the basic all-inclusive package, the food selection in the main ones suffices. The accommodation in the water villa is delightful, providing a high level of privacy, and the private jacuzzi on the terrace enhances the experience. Easy access to the coral reef from the villas on the outer part of the island is an additional plus. The island boasts lush vegetation, which, combined with white beaches and clear waters, creates a quality experience. Due to additional children’s programs, the island is also suitable for families, especially recommending beach villas instead of water villas for families.

On days, some of the buffet lunch/dinner was not up to standards as the other day, but overall had a good selection of items and cuisines.

The island was very beautiful, clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful! Our villa had fantastic views!
