IsraelShower water pressure was a bit lacking. Kitcen could be a bit better stocked, though we did get what we wanted when asked.
The apartment was big and clean. Location is great, very close to the beach, walking distance from village center. When we asked, we got the missing stuff from the kitchen. Owner was very considerate and responsive. There were cooking essentials, like salt and cooking oil. Air conditioning worked great, and was quiet. The apartment was spacious and quite cool for the weather.

CanadaAbout 150m walk to the beach. Balcony and roof top seating. Kitchen with fridge, electric grill, coffee maker, pots and pans included. Small shops within 5 minutes to buy groceries. Parking out front for 5 or 6 vehicles.

Mexicowe didn’t have towels until we asked and 2 towels were left on the floor outside. no hand towels or bath mat. and we were 4 in the room. there is no one on site so you have to call but the internet almost never works so hard to contact anyone as no cell service.
great facilities on the rooms, being able to prepare food and have a fridge. comfortable beds too.

The place is close to the beach and the roof top has a great view to the ocean. Jimmy gave us a great recommendation to LA NEGRITA that has great food at reasonable prices definitely we'll be back to El Cuyo.

United StatesIn a place where it’s tough to buy beach necessities , it would be good to have beach towels available. Also while there is a coffee pot, there are no filters, which would be a nice touch. Linens should be upgraded as they are pretty uncomfortable.

NetherlandsThe apartment could better equiped. There was only a grill for cooking so you could only do grilled food. No microwave or fire where to warm water or cook something different. No proper table in the terrace where to enjoy a meal, the chairs were quite uncomfortable. At least they had a hamac, that was a highlight! There was a closet but no hangers...
The apartment is beautiful, great location, very fresh and with a great terrace facing the sea. I recommend it.

MexicoPower was out i understood because there was a fire going on the jungle me and my family didn't mind much about it (that's what we thought ) then at night we came back from the beach and there was no water in the shower, restroom nothing at all we spoked with the people who was on the other rooms and they where pissed because how in world can you live with out water so we had to go get some bottle water so my kids had to shower and a recommendation for the owner it's to have a power bank or a transformer to get energy cuz we spoked with people around and this is the only hotel with out a energy transformer because the light goes very often so now you know my experience with this hotel, came here at this hotel because a friend came and toll me about it but he when he stayed everything went well to bad for me and my kids

MexicoWe booked apartment for 4 people, but we had only 2 towels. In kitchen we did not fond any pot, only frying pans. The first night there was party on the roof top. We had to ask to turn down the music in the middle of the night. After party no one cleaned up, only when we complained. There was no running water in the apartment for almost a day. We asked compensation foe 1 day, we were refused.
Location and sea view was perfect.

CanadaIn summary - other then Jimmy, this place sucks. I recommend spending literally $50 USD to stay somewhere else. There are so many nice places for the same price.
I honestly have no idea why this place is rated so highly on various platforms. Before I start the review, I am a traveller who stays at various types of accommodations around the world and usually look to travel somewhat on a budget and usually an apartment with a small kitchen. This place seemed to fit the criteria and close to the beach. We stayed in El Cuyo with 2 other couples who all stayed at different places and this one was the only one that I couldn’t recommend. The apartment was depressing and felt like we were staying at a basic 2 star resort but with a small kitchen. Patio furniture is basic and uncomfortable. Rooftop patio has no seating or furniture other than 2 swings. You won’t want to spend much time up there, in the apartment or on your patio. As noted in other reviews, you have to pay cash when you get there. Make sure you’ve calculated the taxes etc so you have e enough / exact. When you check in you get 2 towels, a roll of toilet paper and 3 little soaps. One street down from the beach but no beach towels so bring your own. Kitchen - plastic fork and knife, a couple dishes and cups and one small frying pan that is all. Very, very basic. We had intended to cook a couple meals, especially breakfasts, but just not possible with what is there and so we ate out every single meal which defeated the purpose of having a kitchen / apartment. Water - it is pretty basic for rentals to have jugs of water but this place has none. This is another reason why it would be hard to cook. You will need to go buy all of your water for everything including brushing your teeth. Water pressure - low. Hot water lasts 5 minutes and the sinks don’t drain. Bed / mattresses are ok. We had two double beds and just slept in one together. There is no way to join both together. The only sheet is a sheet which is fine that’s usual for Mexico. Air Conditioning - fine except some issues with remote.

MexicoVery difficult to find ..No streetside sign ...no landscaping ...ground floor unit dark with patio facing walls NO VIEW at all , claustrophobic, construction ALL AROUND not welcoming , signs everywhere tell you DO NOT THIS DO NOT THAT...NO drinking water provided No orientation or local information, maps etc. Beds and linens were fine, (skimpy blankets) Batteries in Remotes WEAK had to figure out TV ON OFF ....the Young People who provided the service were nice enough but not TRAINED properly ...windy barely furnished roof top 1 Chair! 3080 Ps for 2 nights was too MUCH , did not accept VISA debit or cards ...THIS IS NOT a good CHOICE for single traveler short stay ..REGRET STAYING THERE , and I am not picky !
