    “The location is ina quiet area, plenty of parking upfront. Small shops around super easy access to Valladolid centre. The pool is great, the beds are very comfortable and the place as all you need. But the best about it are the hosts, super friendly and providing us with lots of good recommendations, restaurant shops and even a guide to visit Chichén Itzá. Thank you Matthieu and Conni for a great welcome”

    “The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for self catering. The air-conditioning was excellent and it had fans and screens as well. The balcony, overlooking the pool, was a good place to sit in the evenings. There is a beach at the end of the street only 2 minutes walk. Though not the best beach, it is a good place for a quick dip.”

    “The pool & appartment was nice, but the location is too far from the bea h. You need to spend $ 50 MXN to cat h a taxi to beach, so if you want to go to the beach in the morning & go out for dinner at night, you'll pay $ 200 per day on taxis. Worth considering.”

Owner was very considerate and responsive. There were cooking essentials, like salt and cooking oil. Air conditioning worked great, and was quiet. The apartment was spacious and quite cool for the weather.”

    “A comfortable house not too far from town, with a nice pool, and privacy. Great to have parking and drinking water. The neighbourhood was local and friendly, everyone says hola. Those used to staying in tourist areas may not like it so much. Local restaurant 5 mins walk Itame is great for Japanese, and also has a nnice Italian restaurant at the front. Definitely go swim in the cenote.”

    “A beautiful spot close to town on a quiet street. Its decorated really nicely and our room was lovely. We had the whole place to ourselves. The swimming pool was really nice once clean, WiFi was strong, it's quiet at night (super rare for Mexico) and really comfortable.”

The plunge pool is fantastic and the host, who lives a couple of doors down, provided great recommendations for local food. These are the details that can really enhance your stay in the area. The place was well equipped, including a blender. Useful for mixing up those cocktails. I only wish we'd spent a couple more days in Valladolid and a couple less in Playa del Carmen.”
