Bathrooms are simple but do the job. It can get warm at night but the hotel provides fans.

The noise! Set between 2 bars, there is a lot of noise until very late. I couldn't sleep without wax earplugs.

Just to note that the hotel is located next to two bar. It can get a bit noisy but it can be expected while staying in the bustling old town centre.

They keep the door locked with a padlock at night, I didn't like it that every time I wanted to go out at night I had to wait for someone to come and open the door for me. Not fair on the staff and not fair on the customers.

One night we had a bad sewer smell coming from the plumbing but staff was able to address the next day and listened to our concerns. Rooms could use more fans or AC. Room 6 has no windows .

The facilities are basic, and there were lots of insects in the rooms so we got bites. It’s also next to a noisy bar (although honestly it didn’t bother us cause our room was further away from it).

Hotel El Nito was a rustic little place with very friendly staff and a great location. Theres a cute courtyard and the wifi worked well in our room, and the location is perfect for exploring Oaxaca.

- every time you want to go in the hotel you need to wait that someone open you up - you cannot bring someone with you in the hotel, they will ask you for money if you want to even though you paid for the room

We were in Oaxaca for day of the dead and the whole town was booked up. This was a great base in a very central location and therefore was perfect for us (a group of three) to leave our stuff and have somewhere to sleep once we had finished partying. The room was basic but excellent value considering what we paid.

Not much.

Good sized room and generous shower room. Always kept spotlessly clean. The central communal area is pleasantly shaded and a nice place to chill out in the afternoon. Located just a couple of minutes walk from both the cathedral square and permanent market. Loads of good eating places again within walking distance.

With no air conditioning and a window that opened onto an enclosed reception area the room was hot and stuffy As a result sleep quality wasn't great-the fan didn't help much.

The room was clean and serviced daily.The staff were very friendly and helpful-I want to mention Javier especially and also Alejandro and Jennie.The location was very good-a short walk to the Zócalo.

the fan in the room was very loud and a bit temperamental. the shower was very cold and a couple of extra pillows goes a long way for weary travellers! I heard from a local that this is a new hostel so it is understandable that there are facility improvements to be had still, however the staff were lovely and it was clean and in a great location.

The bar on the side of the hotel kept me awake till late. My window was small and toward a corridor (not towards the court, that would have probably been better), so no natural light was provided.

The room is comfortable and the daily cleaning is very professional. Desk service is 24h and even if nobody specks English they really do their best to help and assist.

People were smoking right under a no smoking sign. loud noise from the bars on either side of the property. Friends were not allowed into the property, probably as a precaution for Covid

Our room was small and dark (no windows), and the bathroom was not great: tiny with no counter space, funky high shower head, and the toilet flusher kept breaking. We had to take the top off the tank to flush every time.

The staff was everything . They were very helpful and sweet. They call cabs for me and gave me directions . It was pretty close to the cathedrals and zocalo which is where it’s happening. They let me enjoy their outdoor reception area . The room was hot but they give you a fan and it was ok. For the price it was worth it. There was 2 fun bars next to its. I had a great time there!!

A few blocks closer to Santo Domingo. although it was not bad. If you are staying for several days and are looking to save money. But there are many options in Oaxaca. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and the place is safe.

Very clean, spartan room a great value if you are looking to save money, it is located towards the markets which I was interested at at the time and within a moderate walk to the andador, and Santo Domingo.

The front gate is constantly padlocked g even during the day, meaning to get in and out you have to ring a bell and wait for a member of staff if no one is at reception which is inconvenient when your coming and going The plastic cover on the matress is uncomfortable

Rooms have barely any ventilation, a bad mattress, TV didn't work, and room cleaning didn't happen daily.
