Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoI really can't rate it as a 4 star hotel... Rooms are somehow different of what you see on their website and booking.com, there is no mini bar at all, most of the furniture looks weary and modified, no parking lot... you need to walk 2 blocks to get to Madero Parking building, and during week days it's closed at 11pm so be careful, or you will pay around 200 MXN to stay the night at that parking lot behind Las Antorchas Restaurant... During the first days, having breakfast was a nightmare... I don't like to be a classist/racist persona but some of the guests that were here during Holy Week were quite noisy, rude and hoarded a lot of food that many times was wasted, so at 9-10am you won't find anything to eat literally...
On the positive side: Congrats to their super attentive staff at front desk, easy to walk from here to all major spots in downtown like The Cathedral , Exedra, Government Houses, "El Parian", Food market Morelos, and Zaragoza plaza. Price is cheaper if you take a package before Saint Marcos' National Fair or low season.

United StatesThe followings are very minor and shouldn’t be considered an impediment for staying at this hotel. Only 1 elevator for 6 floors ( # 7 but # 1 is the ground floor ) . The wait for elevator wasn’t long as there were few guests. The carpet needed vacuum but it didn’t bother us. The following again is not an issue. The street in front is paved with stone/brick. Cars went by day and night but the low drone, rumble noise but it didn’t affect my sleep at all. It was soothing in fact. If you can’t sleep with any noise, then request a room that faces the inside shaft or higher floor.
# 1 : The staff . They were so helpful in every respect. My room was on the 7th floor which I requested but little did I know that that floor has the poorest internet connection. I asked to see if I can change room and the lady at the reception gave me another room on the 3rd floor which has few complaints about internet connection/reception. That room was a little dark because it faced a shaft . She then offered us a room that faced the street . It was great. We loved the view and the view over the busy streets. Also the chambermaid found an extra luggage rack. The suggestion of restaurant by the staff to “Restaurante Antorcha “ was an excellent and so good that we went there a second time. # 2 : The location. You can’t beat that. The hotel is next to Plaza de Armas, the geographical center of town. # 3: The shower-fast , strong and hot. #4 : The internet. Worked great. #5 : The room : quite spacious. We didn’t feel cramp. #6 : Breakfast : The only regret is that we have to leave for the airport and missed one breakfast. The breakfast is buffet style and very good. #7 : I like the daily house keeping. #8 : The gym which we used every day and there were no one there. The equipments functioned well. Overall 10, A,

TurkeyBreakfast was really very poor. also there is no parking lot, but there are parking attendants who take your car to a parking lot and bring it back when you request it. but you have to wait least 20 minutes for your car.
the location is great, the hotel is in the heart of Aguascalientes.

United StatesThe provided WiFi was adequate, however slower than what I am used to. Having business meetings via Zoom was a challenge.
Room was LARGE and very comfortable. The room had extra amenities like a coat hanger, spacious storage for clothing, etc. Excellent location right downtown which is a huge plus when visiting that area. Having the breakfast in the rate was also very convenient to quickly grab something to eat in the morning. There is a well known restaurant next to the hotel (Sanborns) as an option too for more food options (of course not included).

United StatesThe carpet could use replacement. It’s kind of crumpled in places and you can stumble. It would be nice to have a mini fridge & a microwave, because we were there a week, but not having those wouldn’t affect my decision to stay there again.
Have stayed here a few times- there’s no reason to stay anywhere else. Price was good. Staff friendly, attentive, accommodating. Location is fabulous. Breakfast was very good. Love having a coffeemaker in the room.

MexicoThe facility really needs a rehabilitation. New plaster, updated elevator/lifts. I really think it is irresponsible to have the main lobby on a 1/2 floor that has NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY! That is not Good. No bathroom facilities except on 1/2 floor accessible only by stairs or in your room.
Location, location, location!😁
