Beautiful place with an amazing location a very long history and really lovely and helpful hosts. All the rooms and cabins differ from each other but all of them are charming. Don't expect anything fancy but there aren't many such places left in Zipolite

There are lots of stone steps to climb. I actually liked the exercise, as long as you are in good shape it's fine.

Great location. The area was breezy and quiet. It felt like an authentic old school Zipolite beach experience. The huts were rustic, but spacious.

I liked EVERYTHING and I hope it will stay like this forever… but I know that this place won’t be everyones cup of tea. If u like the simple life and being close to nature then u will love it but if u expect a proper hotel (room) then you better book a stay next door at El Alquimista.

Everything! It was exactly what I was looking for… I had the best 10 days there and I’ll come back again (soon). And thx again to Violeta and her Dad, you guys are a gem, you are the nicest hosts possible.

Don’t expect a five star accommodation, especially the bathroom. The shower is basically a spigot with no shower curtain and could drain better, but it gets the job done. The toilet is a little smelly, but fully functional. Our room was also under another cabin and we were woken up by a lot of stomping, scraping sounds and sand falling on us when the room was being cleaned.

Amazing value and location on the beach, very welcoming hosts and they were able to help us get an extra night at the last minute!

Little investment is needed. Sheets and mosquito net are long due to be replaces (they both have holes and stains). Internet was weak (in my room even non-existing).

This accommodation is an experience. I had a wonderful hut at the top of the rock with an amazing view over the ocean. Hotel is set in an heavenly garden, and just behind is a lovely Cafe 84 with the best espresso in the town. Really, what sells this place is the location and simplicity.

Great location next to the beach. Unique and interesting atmosphere, like a real castaway escape. Nice breezes from the sea. Great view of the whole Zipolite beach from the top terrace. Interesting and charming hotel owner.

We liked our stay there. No big complaints, as the location for that price is really amazing. It could have been a little more clean in the bathrooms though. But it was really not an issue.

There was no breakfast in the hotel offered anymore. I stayed there 5 years ago and loved the breakfast! Now the hotel cafe or restaurant is not working anymore. There is an amazing new cafe called CAFÉ '84 downstairs from the hotel area, which has AMAZING coffee and great breakfast options.

Hundred percent my taste , Nothing to complain about

Very unique , rustic and down to earth accommodation. Best location in Zipolite. Direct on the beach . The owner is very accommodating and very pleasant, so as his staff . There is also a nice cafe on the property, which serves amazing coffee. Will stay there again for sure .

We loved Lo Cosmico! Violeta was an extremely helpful and wonderful host. She organized a tour for us and offered plenty of recommendations. Sleeping with the sounds of the waves every night was great. Being right on the beach is such a treat. It's definitely a bit more rustic than other options in Zipolite, but that's the charm of Lo Cosmico. It is one of the (if not THE) first hotels on the beach, so you feel like you're on a true getaway during the good old days (aka before we were born lol)

Lo Cosmico was quiet and gorgeous. The wooden cabins are rustic and simple and we had 9 days of totally chilled out beach life. Violeta and her family were super friendly and helpful. Thank you! We’ll be back.

Excellent place to stay in Zipolite! Beautiful but rustic accommodation - it’s got all you need. I loved it here, felt like a really special place - I wish I stayed longer and I’ll definitely stay here the next time I’m in Zipolite. There is a great cafe (Samsara) right next door for your morning coffee too
