Just be aware that you will have walk down a hill-like street when getting to the accommodation. Also be aware of the cars and motorbikes as you're walking up and down the hill.

The staff were very chilled and laid back. Nice and understandable. I understand why they are rated so high! Very close to the busiest street in Istanbul. I'll definitely come back. The room is value for money.

- third floor without elevator - I could not pay with my credit card, as their POS was not operating (as they were telling me for 2 days) and I finally had to withdrawl cash in order to pay them, as they were asking from the beginning + loss of money for me, from the transaction and conversion

Great location, 5 minute walk from Taksim metro station. Authenthic feeling neighbourhood, with great Pida oposite the place. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Great host, was able to reserve a parking spot next to the apartment. Higly recommended!

a water pipe broke and they woke us twice early morning and we had no explanation . But they fixed it so we cannot complain . the area can be a bit noisy at times ( but this is Turkey$

very clean and very cosy . clean bed adequate towels . no cleaning service but we saw a mop and we could clean the room. 5 mins from Taksim square with metro facilities . very convenient . a lot of small restaurants and small grocery in the surrounding . Turan the owner a very nice guy . Good heating in the room . Good shower too. if you wish to cook there are basic facilities but we did not cook . i will go back

Wifi was working bad from time to time. My laptop was loosing connection for some reason and the signal wasn't stong enough for zoom calls with video (not always but often) Another small disadvantage - there's no special place for coats and jackets. We had to put them on the sofa. Also in the wardrobe there was only 1 hanger. But that's not critical taking into account all the pros of this appartment :)

The owner is nice and helping. When we were run out of toilet paper he sent us a guy very fast. Also we didn't have enough cash to pay in the day of check-in and he was okey with that, we just payed the next day :)

The street is very steep and I didn't see on the map but that's not related to the place itself. Just make sure you're ok to walk steep several times per day.

There is no cabinet for clothes. But Mr Turan gave us a portable hanging racks. 😊

The service of Mr. TURAN is excellent! He help us a lots. I like the terrace too, specially the grapes vines.

It looked bigger on pictures, but it was still comfy enough

The guy responsible of the facility was super nice, always offering help. Giving us towels and bed sheets whenever he sees us. Always smiling, he even let us stay beyond the check-out time since the appartment wasn't reserved Upon arrival, appartment was really clean and well prepared. The location is really good, easily accessible. The balcony is a game changer, the best place to have a morning coffee.

We received our room late around 6pm (the owner kept our things in a room until we got our booked room) The room is filled with insects (ants , spiders and a cockroach), there was water shutdown one day, electricity shutdown another night, we stayed for 2 weeks and got the room cleaned once only after the first week. At the last day of our accommodation, the owner invaded our privacy, he came knocking on the door my female family member was in the shower !!!!! And only my young son was in the room, So the owner opened the locked door with his own keys (which terrified my son) he just walked in the room claiming that we leave, although we had an agreement on late checkout and that we’re paying him extra for that, of course he could’ve messaged me to talk to me since he contacts me always by the booking app, but No he choose to invade our privacy and open a locked door !!!!! Which is definitely unacceptable! My son called me to let me know so I had to run back there to find him angry with me !!! While he did what he did !!!

Minuses:  •The street is very noisy. Every day at 3 a.m. someone yelled loudly, a lot of cars came, people listened to loud music •A hill like street. •No elevator. And it was difficult to carry a 30 kg suitcase on the 3rd floor in a narrow corridor. •Internet. We had problems with the Internet all week. I went to the reception 2(!) times a day and talked about the problem. They said: yes, yes, we’ll fix it tomorrow. And it lasted there for 5 days without even trying to help us, they only promised. The internet speed was terrible, I waited 30-40 seconds to send a message. The video didn't load at all. Then on the fifth day a man appeared who decided to help us. That day the Internet worked for 5-6 hours. Then internet didn’t work at all In general, over 7 days the Internet worked well for about 10 hours. In the last day before check out I came to reception and said « our internet doesn’t work again ». A girl who works there told us « ah, very sad » •Ants and spiders. On the second day we discovered that we had about a thousand ants in the bathroom and kitchen. I asked the reception 20 times (I'm not kidding) to remove the ant. They promised me 10 times that they will call an inspector. But no one came. Every morning we started seeing ants near our bed, on the table, they were crawling everywhere: food, clothes. There were also a lot of small spiders on the walls. I killed about 30, but there were more I talked also with another girl from hotel and she said she has the same problems with ants •Mold in the bathroom. There is fungus and mold in the corner of the bathroom. •Cleaning. As far as I understand, there is no cleaning at all. Only 2 times: before your check in and after check out. I asked to clean the room for 4 days because the trash bin was full. They promised me many times and no one came. Then I found a Russian-speaking cleaner who came to us on the 5th day. Under the bed was very dirty; there was a lot of dust, hair and papers.

Pros: Good location close to Taksim (8-10 min) Price 37€/night Nice apartment in general. In the photo the apartment looks like in real life Availability of kitchen and utensils Terrace Beautiful view Some of the staff were very helpful They allowed us to check into our room 2 hours before the official check-in
