Each morning the breakfast was different and always delicious. The homemade jam was awesome, if it was available to be purchased, I'd buy some for myself and bring back more as gifts for friends/

Wish our internet in our room had been a bit better. We stayed in the middle room which I understand is between two sources....but otherwise I understood it is fine for everyone else.

Fernando and Jorge were superb hosts. The beauty of the garden and patios and the symphony of birds each morning all created a respite from busy bustling Mexico City. The delicious breakfasts made by a superb chef surpassed our expectations. We felt happy, ready, rested to meet each day in Mexico City because we were under the watchful wings of Fernando and Jorge. -- Victoria

The only bad point for us that we solved first day is that the property does not have access 24h and due to security reasons you need to call for getting in later than 10 pm. I think they should find the way to allow entrance 24h and then will be the perfect spot!

The staff is very friendly, Fernando is a great host, the rooms are incredible and the breakfast is another level.

Everything was perfect.

We love staying at Maria Del Alma in Coyoacán, Mexico City. Our room was wonderful with a private patio. Fernando includes an incredible breakfast every morning. He was so gracious receiving us, my sister, friends and relatives when they picked us up. We look forward to our 3rd stay!

Wonderful hosts! The house and the rooms are very pleasant (and the bed comfortable). The breakfast is fantastic with variety every day. The hosts went out of their way to kindly accommodate my early arrival and late departure - much appreciated. I will definitely come again. I stayed for 6 nights and loved having Coyoacan as my base. As a solo single woman traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe.

To get to downtown Mexico City, you need to take the bus, Metro, a taxi or an Uber. I preferred staying in a quiet neighborhood, but if you prefer being in the midst of the busy, touristy area 24/7, this may not be the best place for you.

This is a lovely, quiet hacienda just minutes from the bustle of Mexico City. The rooms are comfortable and roomy and the hosts are gracious and welcoming. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning with homemade dishes, like Huevos Rancheros, always accompanied by fresh fruit and coffee. Coyoacán has many restaurants, cafes and shops close by, and the Hisorical Center is accessible by bus, metro, taxi or Uber. It's nice at the end of the day to return to a quiet haven. It's also nice to wake up in the morning to fresh air and the songs of birds.

The Wifi in the room I occupied was spotty.

Breakfast was superb, setting very comfortable, and the property was beautiful. The hosts are very attentive to detail and guest wishes. And the part of Mexico City is beautiful.

Everything. If we had to choose our favorite element of the stay - it would be Fernando and Jorge, the hosts. They are so lovely and welcoming and they really want you to have a great stay. Plus their breakfasts rock :) The room was comfortable and clean, the garden is gorgeous and we absolutely loved staying in Coyoacan. Definitely recommended!

The water heater was turned off at some point midday. It would have been nice to be able to take a hot bath in the jacuzzi tub before bed, but alas, that was not an option.

The hosts were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient. The property itself was a quiet, colorful paradise complete with caged birds, collections of regional artwork and immaculate landscaping. A tasty breakfast was served in the outdoor dining area.

Booking.com indicated that payment would be made through PayPal, but cash was required. The confirmation from Alma House made this clear, but the misinformation from Booking was front and center.

Fernando and Jorge were helpful, gracious and welcoming. Fernando offered great suggestions tailored to our interests on what to do. The property is lovely. The room comfortable. The breakfasts were varied and always delicious. We wished we could stay longer

The location is ideal, quiet, and the place itself is beautiful with plants, vibrant colors, and a courtyard. The food in the breakfast was also so fresh and delicious. My partner and I originally booked this place for only two nights, then returned for another three 😂
