Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThey need to have a drink menu. We asked for one but they did not have one. Although the waiter verbally gave me the list.
The hotel and rooms are very comfy. The staff was exceptional. I asked to check out late because my bus was leaving at 6pm and there was a small fee but they made it happen. We ate ate the hotel and the food was pretty good and we also ordered drinks while at the pool and their Piña Colada's are awesome. The Hotel is a block away from the bus stop which was one of the reasons I picked it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

United KingdomMy room was located on the ground floor corner entrance and so noise could be heard early in the morning. However the central and pool areas were only permitted to be in use until 2200 so it was not noisy late at night.
Excellent hotel very conveniently located close to the bus station and other restaurants and cafes in La Canada area. It is minutes from the main road from where you can get transport to the ruins. The hotel has very good facilities including pool and restaurant. The room was well appointed including a/c, fan and filter coffee machine and toiletries.

PolandThe staff is very helpful, friendly and speaks English. The location is great - 5 minutes walking from the main bus station of the city, where tourist tours and ADO bus starts from. There is a possibility to use pool, toilets, and shower after checking out. There are many restaurants around.

United KingdomSafe in the room was broken. Needed to go to restaurant on site to refill bottles - would be great if we could do this ourselves from a container in the reception area.
Great location in the leafy area of Canada in Palenque. We usually stay in hostels but this was worth the extra money for the great facilities - well equipped room with fridge, TV, Aircon, showers etc and lovely pool and sunbathing area. The staff were very helpful. We were able to use the facilities outside of our check out / in times which was extremely helpful with early / late buses. Very comfortable stay, highly recommend.

MexicoWe liked everything. After eventful days with excursions to Chiapas' many waterfalls, lakes, rivers and the historic Palenque archeological site, you will find a welcoming oasis here. Great and kind staff. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Arriving early or leaving late is no problem as they will let you lounge at the pool and even turn on (one of their three pool-side) jacuzzi. Located on what must be Palenque's nicest street. 3 minute walk to the ADO bus station if you travel by bus to your next destination. The new airport and (under construction) brand new Maya Train station are an 11 minute taxi ride away. Take any cab, waiting in front of the hotel for a local rate of 150 pesos. You can also take the ADO bus to the Maya Train for 35 pesos but departures are scarce.

Everything, there's nothing I can think of that would make me say something was not ok. Great Hotel, staff is 1st class and amenities just on point. We arrived @ 7 am, and they gave us the room right at the moment. That helped so much because we had a rather uncomfortable all-night bus ride. Great pool area, and the restaurant has amazing food at very reasonable prices.

GermanyThe place is very clean except for the pool area. The water in the pool did not look fresh and clear as on the pictures. Steps into the pool were slippery. Besides, the pool area was full of leaves. I personally thought the pillows are very thick and hard but that might be a matter of personal taste.
The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel offers free secured parking. The architecture of the building is very spacious. Also the street where the hotel is located is really nice, with a couple of nice restaurants and coffee bars.
