How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rooms could do with some renovations.
Great looking location, a walkable distance to the central places, the bed was comfortable but felt like it was finished in the middle.

Could've had Kleenex tissues, towels were worn thin, no washcloth...a hand towel is too big for showering, the place is a bit rundown...
The location was perfect! Water pressure in shower, room and bathroom size was great!

Bedside lighting was funky. Located on a very busy street (Nuevo Leon) with LOTS of traffic noise.
Well laid out clean, spacious, and modern room with lots of windows. Convenient location in the Condesa neighborhood. Helpful staff. Elevator! LOTS of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Reasonably priced.

I spent a few nights here as a single woman traveller visiting a friend in the city. The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and the room was comfortable (especially the bed). I had a room on the second floor and the noise from the bar was barely audible (the windows have double glazed panels). I loved the little cafe attached to the hotel for breakfast. Overall the stay was great value for money.

Nothing really only that the rooms were a little warm again since only two windows could be open…and no A/c ..
Great hotel on a wonderful location … room was a little warm since there’s only two windows that could be open. They did provide a fan, which was very very helpful, but maybe ceiling fans and also some hooks on the walls would be super helpful..

Only that the bar next door played musique till 2am Wed-Sun. And I had a 7am flight on the Thursday
Location was excellent situated between Parque Mexico & Parque Espana. Nice to be beside so much greenery and great cafes/independent shops.

This has become my home away from home in Mexico City, because of the clean aesthetic, the size and easiness of the rooms. But also because I have my favorite bkfast. spot down the stairs, Farmacia Internacional. I feel so at home and it suits all my needs. It's on a noisy street but for the price of the rooms, it is something you can deal with!

The dangerous little raised door frame/step as you reach the first floor! Easily missed and you could easily trip. The ceiling light was not good.
Welcoming staff. Easy check in and earlier than planned. The room was lovely. However, we could hear the loud and annoying sound of a refrigerator from our room. We asked for a different room at reception on the very first night. Although we only spoke to the evening concierge, it had been noted and we were able to move to a new room. We packed, left our luggage at reception and got on with the day. When we came back at about 5pm, our cases had been moved to the new room. Very good service! Thank you. Lovely room too, the same standard but bigger and a much larger bathroom, with his/hers sinks and 2 shower heads in the large walk in shower! The double glazing was very efficient. Nice quiet nights although some reviewers had complained about the road noise!

Nothing! Except the strong perfumed scent in the elevator.
Great location in Condesa. Cute boutique hotel, not luxury but extremely affordable and rooms are pretty spacious and has everything you need. Omar, in the reception was super helpful with making restaurant reservations and more! There is a city bike stall right outside which is very convenient if you want to bike around. Caiman bar was very popular and trendy. Would recommend to ask for a room on a higher floor, otherwise music and buzz from the bar could disturb your sleep. Would absolutely stay again!!
