Its right on the main street through the village so traffic noise begins around 6am. Could have provided more/better utensils (e.g. a coffee pot!) and trash cans with lids.

Lovely location right on the beach. Always something going on there: surfers, boats going out whale-watching, fishermen. The hammock was great. Friendly, helpful staff and a good restaurant. We opted for a suite with a kitchenette which gave us more flexibility.

Rooms are basic but fine, you are paying for the location. We had noisy neighbours after 11 one night on the shared space and nobody from the hotel said anything. The noise also carried from a beach party.

Right on the beachfront. After a frosty start the owner warmed up a bit and organised a taxi to the airport in the early hours. The food is decent.

If you book here, you got to be aware that not every room is on the side by the beach. Staff is extremely hard working, serving a busy restaurant and managing the rooms. Got a say, I was impressed by how our check in person did like 5things at once. Everyone was sweating…

We had an amazing room, mid floor with a balcony overlooking the beach. Great tile work on floors, charming vintage wood work closets. Funky vintage lights. Cute overall. Even the key chain was artsy.

This hotel perfectly met our expectations and there were no faults or things that we didn't like.

This hotel has a beachside and an across the street facility. The beachside rooms are all overlooking the ocean and in my opinion a great value. You can watch the big waves breaking and people surfing plus some sunset views. Our room was clean and large and exactly what we expected. It's not a resort or fancy accommodation, but that is what we were looking for. It has good WFi. Mary restaurants are nearby and it's very easy to hail a Collectivo or Taxi.

No safe or lockbox in the room. Old style window A/C is noisy. The hotel is in need of updating - new bathroom sinks and faucets (current ones leak), better towels. Soap is provided. No shampoo or hairdryer so bring your own.

The location on the beach is perfect and the reason we return. The restaurant is good, staff are nice. Some rooms have a fridge. Hot water is good. Beds are comfortable. We’ve stayed multiple times.

For the price charged, this hotel could use a lot of sprucing up. Sink was cracked, towels are thin, lots of dust under the bed, no safe, window screens are torn.

they inform you after you arrive that they won’t give you the room you booked until the next day with a lame excuse of animal damage and no real apology. we have been there many times so we could see that they had someone else booked in the room even tho we booked it over a month before. indifferent staff no one offered to carry bags up three flights of stairs. the apartment rooms on the third floor aren’t up to par in so many ways and very hot with an inadequate air conditioner especially compared to regular rooms. very rough attic type rooms fine if they weren’t $100.00

The windows looking out over the terrace were really dirty. The staff was at times impersonal. The available chairs and tables for enjoying the beach were very close to the restaurant. The chairs and tables out on the beach did not belong to the hotel and cost extra, even though they were in front of it. This seemed odd to me.

The location is great. Right by the beach. The room was nice and balcony terrace outside the room was really nice.

I booked a stay last Friday-Sunday. I made the reservation Friday night, and management rejected my check-in request—I was arriving +3 hours from making the reservation online. My check-in time was rejected, the property was closed down. And there was no way to get into my room for friday night. I had nowhere to go, and slept in my car that night on the street. I am still being charged for Friday night and this is not acceptable to me. Please return my money for Friday night since you provided no services to me, and you lost nothing. I should not have to pay $1000 mxn to sleep outside the hotel in my car.

Location was good. Service was terrible. They locked me out Friday night, and still charged me for staying there.

Bookings.com overcharged me by advertising the cost of the room in Canadian dollars, and when I had agreed to the payment, they charged me in US dollars. Not as advertised. I will not use bookings.com again.

TOTAL FRAUD. We booked this accommodation because of its location as displayed on the map on booking, but once we arrived the host sent us to another building. I told the host that this was not what we booked and she told me that it booking faults not hers. I booked this accommodation because of its location and I would not have done it if I would have known that I would be sent somewhere else.

Breakfast was very good, coffee excellent as it comes from their coffee plantation.
