Wilko is a great host! Very helpful and flexible. The appartement (we stayed in appartment Izamal first floor) is nicely decorated, very complete and feels like a home away from home. It is quietly located at 10 minutes from the restaurant area!and close to the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at Casa Juanita was incredible. Milko was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us the keys and the rundown of the place. The place is located one block from the beach and about 5 blocks from the downtown area. We were grateful we rented bicycles because it is a long way to walk in the heat of the day. The pool was an exceptional way to cool off in the morning and the evenings. The room had everything we needed to make this our home away from home and we would stay here again if and when we come back! Thank you Milko and Juanita! 🙏🏽

Our apartment wasn’t the newest and showed some signs of aging like a dripping shower and a barely functioning AC in the living room. Also, it would’ve been helpful to know in advance that Righetto Vacation Rentals is managed by a company called Abbey del Sol. This could’ve avoided some confusion on our side during check-in and payment.

Our apartment was really big, situated one block from the beach and the internet was fast and stable. The beds were big and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are even useful beach supplies like an umbrella, towels and chairs. You’ll also get free drinking water during your entire stay which was a nice surprise and much appreciated! Our apartment also had clean and refreshing little pool. Milko is very friendly and helpful.

The only minor downside is that the center of town is one mile away. But there is a Colectivo that runs every few minutes just a couple of blocks away. And you can walk on the beach to the center of town (but it can be pretty hot during the daytime).

Wonderful host, private pool, large, and nicely furnished. A very quiet and safe residential neighborhood. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in.

The apartments are really secure behind big wooden doors, but you can walk around at night there anyway. It's a really safe place to be and everyone is friendly. A great place to chill, either by the pool, in the town (a 10 minute walk) or in the beach bar across the road It's really easy collecting keys but you need to know that the office is just a couple of doors along to the right of the property in the Abbey Del Sol office. The staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They organised taxis and things for us. Always with special rates. I would 100% stay there again

Nothing! The only thing for us was we arrived in the dark from the airport & forgot to top-up our phones to make international calls/buy a sim so had a little trouble working out which door to knock & were waiting outside for 5mins (totally our own fault) managed to get some WiFi & top-up so we could call & Milko was there straight away, we paid by card that evening as we were leaving for another flight next day.

Great space, good little kitchen (we were only there one night 6pm-7am so didn't actually use it). Big TV & AC, separate bedroom part. Great pool to cool down in and could use in the evening. Easy walk into town for restaurants. Very close to the beach. Couldn't fault it. Ideal to stop over from the airport rather than going into Cancun itself.

Milko, our host, was incredibly kind and gave us some excellent suggestions for places to eat etc. The property is a short five minute walk to the beautiful beach and honestly just a short jaunt into town and close to some excellent restaurants. The king size bed was a huge plus for us and the beautiful courtyard with refreshing pool is super quaint. We will most definitely return!

We loved the smaller property which was a short walk to a beautiful beach. Town centre was an easy walk also. The room was spacious for 2 people with a great kitchen for home cooking. Perfect for the longer term traveller like us. The pool is small but absolutely perfect with comfortable outdoor sunbeds.

It is perfect. The host is fantastic. The apartment has everything you could need including beach chairs. The beach is super close. This is a home away from home. It was so good that we stayed twice in our five weeks travelling the country.

Location.

The room was magnificent, it was just a kilometer to the city plaza, a long walk in July in Mexico. However, it was just two blocks from the upper end of the beach.

Some people may feel that it is a bit far from the town but for us that was not a problem, rather an advantage. It’s a 10/15 minute stroll either along the road or beach and is very pleasant. We preferred the quiet.

The apartment and the small complex it was part of was excellently planned for privacy and space and the finishing and gardens were beautiful. The area was walled and gated so it was safe and private from the street. The apartment itself was a very good size with spacious kitchen, dining, lounge and bedroom. The kitchen had everything you could need. Every detail was taken care of. The pool was smallish but perfect for a cooling dip. We were the only guests at the time we were there so we did have the space around the pool to ourselves but I’m sure it would be fine with other guests as well as not everyone will want to use it the same time. There was also a back sitting area off the bedroom which was shaded and surrounded in lovely tropical plants and we enjoyed our meals there. The host was wonderful. So helpful and friendly. The apartment is super close to the beach. It is away from the town so very quiet. For us it was the perfect ending to our touring holiday of Mexico and Guatemala before flying to the UK. Highly recommend.

Our first time returning to Casa Juanita since the pandemic. What a wonderful week enjoying Puerto Morelos. The location is far enough from the town center to be quiet and relaxing, but a short walk or cab into town for shopping and good food. Very comfortable, clean apartments with full amenities. AC is a nice relief from a day out in the heat.

It is very clean and well equipped, and the pool very nice to come back to. Milko was very helpful and responded to all my questions, organising a taxi from the airport for us. It was the perfect place to land in Mexico if you don’t want to go to Cancun or stay at the airport, but also a good first beach spot. It is a very safe town with good snorkelling, and the botanical gardens were well worth a visit. It’s an easy walk into town and safe at night, and a nice quiet spot.
