Top bunk doesn’t get much ventilation and is a little warm but overall it’s ok

The walls are VERY thin so even in a private room I could hear literally everything from my neighbours (which would be fine if they didn’t stay up late talking loudly but is not the fault of the hostel)

The shower facilities was a little meh, had to aim for that one shower cause the other one had slow or no water at all.

Love that it was in walking distance to several seafood restaurants.

The registration counter is only opened at 8am, not convenient if you want to check out early. They could provide a box to drop the room key.

It is simply hard to get to the upper bunk of the bed,and there is no shampoo and toothpaste provided lol

Only downside was that all the bathrooms seemed to get cleaned at the same time so was unfortunate if you needed to use one at that point.

Our stay was brilliant from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond, helping us find the right car park and even carrying our bags (despite our protests!) They gave us amazing recommendations for activities and trips and were always willing to help answer any questions we had. The rooms were lovely and clean with great air con. The bathrooms were always spotless, as were the communal areas. The included breakfast was great and very flexible with access at all times and a great view of the local islands. Overall a 10/10 and we were very sad to be moving on!

There are only few toilets and sometimes no more toilet paper

There are many massage shops with a very reasonable price nearby. The view of the common area is magnificent. 24/7 self-serving breakfast.

Really nice hostel, we had a private room. Small but OK for a night or two. The toilet/shower room is good and really clean. Kitchen area with tea, coffee, biscuits and bread. Would definitely recommend

The WiFi was not great

The location of the property is amazing. It is a very clean hostel even the common areas were kept super clean. The staff is very useful and you have options to book tours through the hostel.

The location was great. Very close to the Filipino market, Gaya street and right across from the waterfront (great view from the lounge). Really easy to walk around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hostel itself was not noisy at all. They also served a simple breakfast all day which was nice if you wanted a snack or a cup of tea.

My husband and I loved this hostel and stayed twice while we travelled around Borneo. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and generous, and the place felt so comfortable, that we just enjoyed hanging out there. Everything was clean and spotless too. The location and the sea view was also fantastic!

The only minor thing is the smell in the room. It smelled humid and of strong chemicals.

Everything was perfect. I got upgraded to a double dorm bed with Seaview. It was very comfortable. The dorm also had AC. The view from the bed and living room was gorgeous! The main chill area is super comfy as well. All-day breakfast is a nice addition. Free drinking water and towels are provided. They had enough showers and toilets in separate cubicles. The location was in the city centre. Lots of information on tours and activities. In the evening, a lot of people came together to watch movies or chat. Spacious lockers in the dorms.

The walls are quite thin which meant we could hear everything when the next door room checked in at 1am

Staff are very friendly, the facilities are good with a nice breakfast and chill out area. The location is good and the room was good value.

No hand towel to dry hands after washing. Instant coffee provided, not 'real' stuff, no sugar for tea/coffee. No curtain covering bedside window.
