Close to few major sight seeing (within 5km) to Sim Sim Village St Michael church &. St Mary Church Agnes Keith Residence But it’s actual location is right smack city centre and one can only find malay food mainly in this area (limited selection)

The door to the bathroom didn't close properly and I hate frosted glass toilet doors. Privacy makes me question why Why this new fashion? The Skywalker Lounge was disappointing in terms of lacking Starwars decor and expensive food.

I arrived on a rainy and stormy night so I didnt get a chance to explore the night life - so I will have to come back :)

The room was quite warm in the night despite the air con being on. It isn’t the most luxurious but it was an affordable stay and expected level of comfort for what you pay. Nevertheless I would use them again for another similar trip!

Breakfast was okay - there’s enough variety for everyone but it doesn’t stay hot and we were there very early. The location is brilliant albeit there’s little to do in Sandakan however it’s a great stopover after a late flight before rainforest tours etc. Staff were brilliant - very attentive and kind.

The area itself doesn't have a lot going on and didn't feel the safest as a solo female traveller. Good if it is just a quick stop over before heading elsewhere

Nice views as it is right by the water front. Restaurants were nice enough and live music on the deck at nights which is a nice touch

Sandakan was still 30 minutes from Sepilok if you are going to visit the Orangutan sanctuary.

It was modern, clean and located in the center of Sandakan near many restaurants.

The location is perfect because it's in the middle of the main square and you can reach everything by there. The breakfast was good and varied.

Nothing really. Unfortunately it was such a fleeting stay that we didn’t get to experience it properly.

Fabulous view from the room. Well located for the best places to eat. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We had to leave early in the morning for a flight and they provided a packed breakfast and sorted our transport.

They were having maintenance work being done during our stay and we had workman outside our room making a lot of noise at 0815 in the morning!

Not so great sound isolation between rooms. Airco just dripping freely (outside), so could here water/drops during sleep while airco was on.

- the hotel is a bit outdated, but that comes down to personal taste, although some renovation should be set in motion - our rooms were generally clean, but not under the beds, where there was an insane amount of dust and dirt

- great location, just next the bay and the waterfront - the breakfast buffet is great and various, with lots of local dishes -the staff is accommodating and nice

A lot of noise in the early evening from the band and DJ outside. There was also some kind of generator that went one outside for parts of the night. Thankfully I had very good earplugs. The water pressure on the top floor was very bad.

The hotel was right by the water. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice. Management was very responsive, they moved me from my room to a suite after having a lot of problems with the water pressure in my room.
