Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The location is excellent, with the heart of old Melaka within a few minutes walk. The staff were also lovely, even at 7am when I departed. The rooms had a nice charm with fun and interesting decor.

United KingdomMossie bite on my leg , which I must have scratched in the night , which left a spec of blood on a sheet . We were charged 30 RM , when you can have a pair of heavy cargo shorts washed at the Hotel for 2.5 RM ! .

MalaysiaThere were a couple of ants near the sink in my room. I have reported this to the receptionist so I hope they have sorted it out. The room is a little dark so not suitable for reading. Some noises of people talking at the corridor could be heard from inside the room but nothing major.
The road that the hotel is on is very, very busy but location is spot-on - next to a 7-11, and walkable to many eateries and places of interest. There is also a public parking area just down the road (about RM2-3/per entry/per day). There was a Coway water dispenser on the ground floor and the room came with 2 sets of tea cups, saucers and teaspoons. Room was comfortable and facilities worked fine. Value for money and a good place to stay if your objective of visiting Melaka is sightseeing and eating!

The location is superb. Just a stone throw away from the iconic Christ Church Melaka. And just a bridge to the famous jonker street. Nothing beats the convenient. Practically walking distance to most places.
