room without air-conditioning. We got to leave the glass door open to sleep. Extra public bathroom should be provided for guest to wash up after sea activities to avoid long queue.

The location. Can swim and snorkeling around the water house. Friendly staff. Nice music/song played at dining area.

When a group of Chinese travellers came and ordered everyone around and didn’t get water melon cos they filled half their plate. This made an enjoyable time disappointing

Ants on the bed. They don’t bite you or make you scratchy but sharing a bed with ants is not very enjoyable.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Free snorkeling around Waterhouse and equipment is also free(10RM to rent fin though). Dining is amazingly delicious(we had very good crabs).

There could be more variety in the food, more fruits would be great! But the food is delicious though!

It was a dream come true! Everyone and everything was great! Staff is friendly, helpful and polite, they speak very good English, so communication was easy. The room was spacious and clean, and the terrace was the best! No AC, only fan, but it's more than enough! 4 meals daily, afternoon snack was my favorite, unlimited coffee and tea.

The food! Even though it has been mentioned as a buffet on all the 4 days that we stayed here, there was 1 chicken curry, 1 crab curry, 1 fish curry, and 1 vegetable curry. My husband eats only chicken, and he has only one curry to choose (for all the 4 days). Also, as a person who can not digest gluten properly, all the snacks served are made from flour (has gluten). Also, for breakfast, they just served eggs, fried rice, and bread. A lot can be improved in terms of food. Because, after you come here there is no chance you can buy something to eat or drink. Also, no alcohol is served or sold.. Every snack, drink, alcohol, etc. has to be bought before you catch the jetty to the resort. They didn't even provide toothbrush! if we were staying for a night or 2, it's easy to adjust, but when you stay longer, it's difficult. Also, the flush in the bathroom wasn't working properly. There is some water flow issue in the bathroom altogether because the pressure of water is sometimes negligible and sometimes okay.

The location and ambiance are amazing. Staff is great. Great hospitality and entertaining. Amazing view from the room. Can't say enough. We just loved our stay here. We would definitely recommend it.

Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

The room has some dirt when first check in. Need to do more routine maintenance of each house.

No need to worry about food. Everything is scrumptious. There are few spots to swim. Each house has balcony!

The floor of the toilet is a little wet.

The room is quite big and comfortable, clean. A lot of beautiful coral, colorful fish, starfish around the water house. The sea view is so nice, especially the sunrise!

If I really need to answer I would say theres quite a lot of rubbish on the sea (and theres no efforts shown to combat that problem). It might not be done by the resort but to see such uncivilized culture on such a beautiful place really takes away the mind.

Being a waterhouse you can expect ocean but if you never know how clear the water in Semporna is you’re in for a surprise. Also being a waterhouse it means you are away from all the hustle and bustle of life, a good and affordable healing choice. Some people might think its pricey but comparing to the other similar options, it is actually one of the cheaper one. (Other places charge you per head in the area)
