How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room light positioning and lux level weren't suitable for reading. Secondly, the hotel is located near MRT and highway, which at times make it uncomfortable due to the traffic noise level

1. the room built in furnitures already worn-out, built in furnitures for hotel use should not use spray paint finish, the cracks and peel off the plywood board is very obvious. 2. The hotel do not have any temporary luggage storage service, this is the first hotel I encountered that not offering any help on this and not giving you any alternative suggestion. They should have put that very clear if the guests need to check-in or check out early, there is NO luggage storage in this hotel. 3.Hair dryer need to request separately and the hotel guest need to go the front reception counter to get the hair dryer. 4.TV resolution is bad and not much programs to see, so is better to watch program from our own laptop or other devices, table space too small and the TV leg stand also occupy the space. 5.it would be better if the hotel think of a guest who need to stay in Seri Kembangan area, they would not travel with big luggage with hair dryer, toiletries and personal care kits. Moreover Mangga Hotel claimed to be a "boutique hotel".
1.The room service staffs keep the room clean and replenish the water bottles and toilet papers, replace the towels regularly. 2. The hotel is in a great location which is near to MRT station and short walk distance to places for food and shops. 3.Check-in process is fast and simple.

Some weird smell like something dead or the sewage drain when entering the room but it will go away when close the door. Unfinished electrical wiring for lights.

The breakfast was totally for vegetarian. You need to double check which one FREE for breakfast. I got the wrong info about breakfast and need to pay at cashier.

I do not like when most of the electric plug are not function. I would suggest for you to make a maintenance on the electric plug because your client need that.
I like the comfortable of the room. I would suggest to you to put a bit of room fragrance to give more comfortable to your client. The clean of the room is 5 star.

Nothing particular, everything is passable given that it’s a budget hotel cannot expect too much.
The location is near to axiata arena, and fast foods chain like burger king/mcd is just around the corner make it easy for late night snack adter concert/events. It’s okay if you need a cheaper option for sleep over the night after an event at axiata/stafium bukit jalil i guess

Don’t have hair dryer.
All thing are by auto machine, is very easy to check in and check out, staff are very friendly, parking are more also, outside near got mcD and Burger King and some mamak store, down stair have vegetarian restaurants.

basic hotel items such as hair dryer & iron should be provided. other than that, the lift was surprisingly small.
I like the vegan-style breakfast provided by the restaurant next door. bed was comfy enough to get a good sleep. they do have a self-service check in and check out which is convenient. near to mrt station.

Hair dryer not provided in the room although booking time it indicates yes. No luggage service area so after check out even for one or two hours the luggage can't put at the hotel area.
