Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MalaysiaI know and understand hotels are going through tough time, but I was expecting it to be well maintained. The towel rack was broken, and there's stains on the bathroom mirror. Being one of the well established hotels in the town, I hope they can figure out ways to repair the broken items as soon as possible, and put extra care when it comes to cleanliness. And also, the ambiance is a bit dull. It might be a minor issue, but maintaining the image is important.
Everything about the location, the staff's hospitality and the rate (value for what I pay) can be considered fair, and good. It was a one night stay, so I am satisfied with the stay.

MalaysiaNo soap. Soap dispenser was empty and there was only a small bottle for two of us. At least a bit more coffee and teabags. The outside corridor was not vaccumed. Access to iron was outside the room - not a pleasant experience for people attending functions or weddings. Understandable that due to covid, shops are closed or restricted hours
