It is suitable for non muslims as the non halal food court is very near to hotel, but a little bit disappoint for muslims because it doesn't suits the syariah compliances as you can smell the smoke of non halal food from your bathroom. Plus, you can hear the cooking sounds clearly with people hanging out down there.

The hotel is clean and tidy, near the 24hours mart, and the receptionist is well manners.

First room given, faulty alarm that goes off continuously and cannot open door. Next door is a couple. Second room given smelled of smoke. Reception refused to change problematic room. Third room, took it because all rooms will be almost the same.

There is no iron, water heater (to boil drinking water), coffee, or tea. There are only 2 500ml bottled water provided. Well, to me, this is fair enough to keep the room rate affordable and to prevent the room from being crowded with amneties. Travellers with small kids might find the room inadequate for the mentioned shortcomings but adult travellers would find it acceptable and value for money, for the price you paid.

The hotel does not provide any breakfast. However, just next to the hotel is a 24-hour food court called Premier Food Republic that offers a good variety of food. Kolo mee, kampua mee, chicken rice, laksa, burger (Burger Times' pork bacon cheese burger is superb!), you name it. Halal and non-halal food easily found at the food court. I stayed in a room with Queen bed and window facing the big roundabout in front of the hotel. The room is compact but feels spacious enough for me, not claustrophobic. Bear in mind that during afternoon time, this room's window receive plenty of sunlight, adequate to dry your clothes if you hang them on the window starting from 9am till 6pm, provided they are not thick clothings.

Cleanliness especially in the bathroom was mouldy and a bit smelly. No hangers provided even though I've requested it from the receptionist. The mattress was really uncomfortable to sleep and the pillow was smelly.

The facilities are quite disappointing. I need to wash the toilet using my own shower so that it smells good. The room is also dirty and has cockroaches and ants. I hope in the future, the room services need to check all the room conditions. Overall it is good.

Upon arrival in the room, I noticed the: 1) water boiler wasn’t emptied (I guess it is never washed since previous person whom stayed in the room left) 2) the cup in the room was dirty with some kind of white powder in it, which again means the cup wasn’t cleaned after previous tenant check out 3) liquid shower soap in the wall-mounted soap dispenser in the bathroom was already hardened like gel, making the soap difficult to come out from the dispenser despite how many times I press the dispenser The matters above are all small matters. Hopefully housekeeping staff can do a proper cleaning and check if soap after each time a tenant checks out.

Location: 1) Nearest eatery is a food court that is literally just next to the hotel, reachable within 5 minutes of walking distance. 2) There is a bank and at least 2 self-service coin laundries within walking distance. 3) Can go to any part of Kuching city at ease from the hotel because of the strategic location near a big roundabout that diverges to different parts of Kuching.
