To go to the river, you have to climb some stairs behind the hotel and go down a slope. Hence it's not very suitable for the elderly or those with limited mobility. The river is quite small as its upstream but cleaner. And there's few dam with pool for small children to play safely. But it will be crowded during peak season.

I gave my review at Very Good, considering it's 2/3 star rating, and I don't put up my expectations, say to a 4 star hotel. We went there during non-peak time i.e. on Monday and it was very quiet during our check time. We added 1 additional single bed for RM60 per night. Not bad and was installed without any fuss. The hotel was a bit old and old fashioned, unlike shown in the pictures. Surprisingly for me it was quite cleaned, in the room and also its surrounding lawn. There was no fan in the room, just an air-conditioning unit. There's a door opened up to a balcony facing the front lawn. You could hear the sound of the river from the balcony. It was quite cold in December and you might struggle with the air-conditioning setting as it got too cold. There's small fridge, electric kettle (with tea bags & sugars) and a small TV, maybe the size of a desktop monitor. But they provided Astro with some channels eg TV1, Cinemax, Travel/Lifestyles documentaries and sport channels, not bad. And quality of the picture was quite good, close to HD, unlike some other hotel with bigger TV but blurry pictures. The shower had good pressure and the hot water system works. Breakfast was simple with nasi lemak and mee hon. There's white bread with jam, sekaya and butter and could be toasted. And corn flakes/coco-crunch with full cream milk. Surprisingly it was tasty especially the sambal for nasi lemak. The river is behind the hotel ie about 100 metres plus. There's a lot of trees including fruit trees surrounding the property and surprisingly there's not many mosquitoes.

the landscapping was bad no upkeeping, its a shame to see the flowers, the garden, the pond all not keep up.

comfortable room, bathroom (water preasure is mad) good, comfy bed, bfast food decent, staff smiled back, free parking, many fruits tree (but durian not falling of. if not we will eat it 😅), little hiking down to the river (the path going down to river is very steep, u can bring the car down (even there is sign no vehicle but the staf allow) but we afraid to drive our car down there), beautiful balcony with view (front & back), and coffee facilities in room together wz bottle water also there

Some of the facilities really need to fix eg. wi-fi not working, jacuzzi outside not working, overall general upkeeping of the building and surrounding grounds.

The location is okay. Nice stream with clean clear water running at the back of the property. Hardly see any staffs since only two person working at the property this time. They provide hot water, coffee and tea at all times.

Nothing positive. This resort located far above the Janda Baik hill. The resort surrounding, their common areas not properly maintained. The ambient and the vibe a bit scary, i just checked in, and get out of the premise 10 minutes later.

The location was hard to find. It was wrong on the maps and no signage to it.

Lizards poo everywhere. Signboard worn and torn out should be replaced.

Food for sahur. Since there are only 2 of us as guests who require sahur, we had nasi goreng kampung with sunny side up eggs, corn flakes and cocoa cruch cereal, toast, kurma. Full and satisfied.

Breakfast was very poor. There was no facility of lunch and dinner in the hotel. We managed food from outside small restaurants. I felt it charged quite high w.r.t real value.

Total 3 staffs were there and all of them very cordial. Car parking, the spaces inside the premises are very nice.

We did not get towels and floor mat when we arrive. Late evening then we got them. The pillow covers are smelly. Maybe they did not change em. The beds made us itchy.
