The front desk guy who was probably the owner said I couldn't use a different card without canceling my booking.com reservation. I know for a fact that is not true. He's ripping off booking.com and avoiding fees to them by canceling my original reservation. One other thing is I could only get one key card. So my husband and I can't be away from the room at the same time. We have to be together or we can't get in the room. He wouldn't even let me pay extra for it. I think the owners or the front desk guy are shady.

The power outlet at the sink didn't work, but we just didn't use the hair dryer....

The tub needs to be refinished. Thin walls. Could hear neighbor through adjoining door. Saw a couple of roaches in the room too. Besides that, room was large and clean. Parking lot is well lit and the property is well taken care of.

You all, you need to up grade the mattresses. They were not real comfortable. The bathtub, if you are not going to use the jacuzzi, Then get rid of it. Since the tub leaked, I couldn't use the tub to take a bath. I could only shower.

The linens were the best part of the bed. The service was good. The parking was good. The size of the room was good. This room would be used because I was in a pinch.

Staff was professional (meaning they did their job - checked us in), but not friendly at all. I don't think he even smiled. The rating may have changed a bit if there was some welcoming or friendliness.

This was a nice place for one night stay. The pictures make it look lots nicer. But I must say that it was clean, quiet, close to walkable restaurants and as I heard, 15 minute walk to the beach. It was simply a nice quiet place with some amenities (near restaurants). Nothing fancy, but certainly adequate.

Nothing. All was great. I got a great deal staying here on a Sat night and had made a late reservation during summer busy season.

Short 1 night stay, Rodeway Inn worked perfect for me. Clean, large room, hot shower, great help at front desk even though I checked in late. Even better are all of the coffee/drink, breakfast, and eating places right there at Leucadia Beach. I had a nice morning walk to Grandview Beach and back, after grabbing a nearby coffee.

1. very thin walls. you hear every noise in the adjacent rooms. 2. Room smelled like a mixture of disinfect and old carpet. 3. Problems with no hot water in my room last two days of my stay and front desk suggested that I didn’t know how to operate a shower and they never made any effort to fix it (hot water worked fine first three days of my stay) said that I couldn’t switch rooms due to being completely full, even though there were numerous vacant rooms during my stay. They refused any discount at checkout for the inconvenience and were dismissive of the fact that the hot water didn’t work. 4. They tack on a daily COVID cleaning fee when you check out even though I did not require room service during my stay and the room, while reasonably clean, did not seem to ever have received some super sterile Covid cleaning that would warrant an extra daily charge. When I objected to the fee, they said silly things like “oh, it’s for your safety,” although I didn’t feel like paying a daily cleaning fee for service I didn’t receive makes me feel any safer, it just makes me feel ripped off.
