There was no water one day and one day no electricity. Total waste of money. No communication from owners about either. Only when I complained, they looked into the issue.

The restaurant was closed. No food available.

Our 5 days stay was too short :((((

The calmness of the place, from the start we instantly felt welcome. Receptionist named Ana, greeted us with warm welcome and answered all questions professionally. The ambience was amazing, not too many people just perfect for our holiday. The chalets n rooms are well prepared. We got the front beach chalet and the view directly towards Pulau Dayang Bunting.It was magical. Infinity pool just nice for my children overlooking the 'magical' island. The best part is, the resort have few furry friends that will greet you every morning and night and sometimes hangs out with you throughout your stay. Will definitely come again, our 5 days stay was truly a memorable one. Thank you Ocean Residence!

there were so many issues on arrival and nothing had been fixed. pool was dirty. surround area was dirty. stray dogs everywhere which bark at you, you can’t swim in the sea. the rooms are very old fashioned. we had a massive crack in the window

some of the room are quite dangerous which is the bed location is too high without any fencing and the floor condition was so bad. The toilet also have to clean because slippery.

So much to tell! From the scenary, ambience, locations, rooms and staff! We went Jan 2022 for our stay, just the restaurant not operational due to covid19. Not to worries as Langkawi have lots of eateries and foodpanda service available. We hope for our next stay we can enjoy bbq by the restaurant by the sea at night enjoying the sea breeze and breakfast with spectacular view. Rooms is spacious and well equip. Beds are soo comfy! We booked villa, contena and long house for our stay and we love it all.

no wifi signal throughout stay (4 Days). Complaint about wifi signal but maintenance only came once and check the phone,not bother to check other things.Handphone signal also very weak. Fisherman beach and don't expect you can play beach here. The nearest beach was at Pantai Cenang which is around 10KM from this hotel. Cleanliness was very poor. Not worth for money + no breakfast.

Our vacation supposed to be fun but this resort turns everything to hell, ruining our mood. First, the STAFF named EMA was very rude to us, she really has no attitude, she even told us that this resort is her own property and she is the manager there. On our last day, we get to know that she is only a receptionist there. Oh, imagine on our first day the receptionist said "bila nak smpai, kaunter tutup pukul 6", our ferry is on 4.30 pm, the only ferry that we could get. On our last day, it was 8am, and there weren't any staff there. We have to knock on the owner's home. Second, the pool is very dirty. Its very mossy and smelly. We are shocked that the dogs drink from the pool when we're swimming. Third, please refill the shower gel. Its the basic thing i guess? If you are so aware of the hotel policy, why you can't treat your customer nicely? In a nutshell, its not worth any penny. Oh ya, the gate will be closed at 12 am ya. It feels like renting a hostel instead of a resort. Lol. To be honest, this resort does not deserve any star. Thanks the ocean residence, I wont come to Langkawi anymore!

The place is too quiet and the entrance area give a spooky feeling. No breakfast available and not much activities on site offered except for swimming in the pool.

The area is well preserved and very private. The pool is very spacious. They have 2 pool in which all guest can use it. During our stay, I think only our family and another one guest stay there so we basically own the pool. We stay in the villa which was excellent , spacious area and huge for our family but since we are the only guest at the villa area, hence it feel quite spooky and lonely. But we feel safe knowing that the owner house is just few meters away.
