We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomVery bad bicycle parking. I have got used to excellent secure bike parking everywhere in the Netherlands but this was just a fence with a couple of bike wheel hoops. Also unprotected from the elements.

United StatesThey could have made it cleaner: the halls and elevator were dirty. The doors to the hallways and rooms had to slam to close/lock which was very loud inside the room. There were guests talking loudly and going in and out of their rooms and the hallway A LOT until midnight, so it was hard to sleep. I felt like the gated parking, required use of key card to get to elevator, to request floor, to get into hall to your room all pointed to an unsafe area. There were no washcloths in the room, and the towels were so high on a rack I could barely reach them. The room and halls had a strange odor.
The proximity to the hospital was good. The cost was half of the next closest hotel.

NetherlandsMainly surrounded by office buildings (bike or car recommended), no lock on the bathroom door in the room. The style of the building itself was a bit like a classic 80s hotel, but to be honest I personally quite liked that.
Simple but effective; nice modern rooms, very soundproof (double windows block out all noise of the road), good TV and power sockets next to the bed. The bathroom was up-to-date as well. Staff was friendly, beer at the bar not too expensive.

BelgiumNo electric load installation I paid € 421.25 / night ("Hot Deal" !!!) for an ordinary room with 2 narrow beds. OK, I ordered it so because I am used to order rooms in Bastion, I trusted them and I did not realize it was that expensive. But whe I contacted the customer service, they politely wimped me off saying they have a "dynamic pricing system". They refused categorically to refung part of the price. I understand that the price raises when the demand is high. But not without limits. This is, according to my mind, actually usury. Therfore, I will NEVER return to Bastion hotels, whatever which one. It is a pitty, because the people in the hotel can nothing about it. But this way of pricing is, for me, unadmissible.

NetherlandsMuch further from Dordrecht than I originally thought, I wasn’t able to get here easily via Public transport. Also, at night there is a gate that restricted me from getting into the property (I walked from the city to the property, there’s no other entrance than through the car gate).
I liked the size of the room and it was a clean, comfortable room.
