The location is great. Next to museumplein. It was clean, very convenient. The room was small but we spent the entire day outside so it wasn’t a problem.

No lift but that was normal for these older and smaller buildings. The stairs were steep but thankfully we were on the first floor.

Michele the manager was exceptional in assisting us with local information. It's location was very convenient to museums and peaceful. The room was larger than expected.

Slightly better black out curtains in summer would be nice - it's only dark between 11pm and 5pm - but only a minor issue.

When all you need is a comfortable, safe place to sleep in a superb location; this is the place for you. It was clean, beds were comfortable, staff were great and amenities were as advertised. Its a 3 star accommodation on a very fancy street very conveniently located to museums and great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Bit of a small room, but wasn’t a problem with us. Has to take suitcases up stairs, might be a problem with people with disabilities.

Amazing location, 2 min walk to the trams (that are also next to the museums). Very walkable to restaurants & shops etc. Clean property & lovely host.

The location was incredible - like 2 minutes from the Rijksmuseum. The room was clean. The staff were friendly.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is good. It takes only a few minutes walking to reach the Van Gogh Museum and the nearest tram station.

We were in a private room for 4 people and the bathroom was a bit small and taller people will struggle to fit in the shower due to the slanted walls. If you struggle with very steep stairs this might not be the place for you.

For the location and value for money the hotel is fantastic. Its no frills and a bit dated, but it was a great place to rest your head at the end of the day. Its located on a quiet street so you don't have to worry about the outside noise.

Good value for money. Good position in the museum district, close to vondelpark too. about 20 minutes from red light district. room was clean, small private bathroom but can't ask too much for what we paid. Check with them if your room has a private bathroom before booking as some rooms don't have it and you will have to use a shared one. No complaints, if your gonna be in the city for a couple days and just need a place to sleep this is great. No elevator so be ready for typical Amsterdam stairs, two floors at least.

The bathroom is very small as compared to the pictures which made me feel like I overpaid. This is purely a design issue but would be useful to highlight this one the advert.

Excellent service. The rooms are clean and tidy. The bathroom was unexpectedly small but it was manageable and maintained well. Fresh towels were available everyday too!

Only the beds were very uncomfortable, separating from the bottom platform of the bed. We were in danger of falling a few times.

Excellent location, you can easily reach the city center by walking. Our room was located on the top floor. We didn't mind the stairs because we knew it was an old and traditional building. It was a clean, quiet and comfortable stay.

The only bad thing I can say about this room is that the shower is connected to the rest of the bathroom so it gets flooded and the sink is too small.

It was great, location is amazing. The host was very professional and responsive. The room was cleaned daily and it was very spacious with big windows and amazing view.

There’s an odor in the bathroom

We arrived at 5pm traveling from Germany and we met Michel waiting for us who was friendly & greeted us with a big smile ( he even helped lift our huge bags up the staircase) the room was clean and freshly made up. It has an amazing view and it’s located on an elite high designer brands street. Michel handed the keys and checked us in and told us to enjoy our stay. Food & drink restaurants seconds from the hotel.

I loved the atmosphere of this hotel, steep stairs, smaller but cute attic room, quiet place, not far to the centre by foot and just next to a park and all the museum. For those who don't look for a luxury but a charming place.
