Internal phone from room to room did not work and they were not able to repair that.

I was just around the corner from Blaak train station. They corrected most of the defects immediately.

Some attention to detail in the cleaning and maintenance of the room was lacking - damaged sealant around the toilet and shower screen plus lots of dirt ingrained on the bin pedals

Staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Great to have bikes that were free to borrow. The location was fantastic.

Difficult to find! Walking from the station I was on the same side of the road so couldn’t see the sign above the arch. There was a very prominent sign for some Chinese therapy, possibly acupuncture, opposite so why not add a a sign there. Alternatively, put a sign in the street somewhere near Slepervest saying something like, “Turn around! You’ve just missed the entrance to Citizen M!”

I didn't realise how small the rooms were and with two people, 2 large suitcases and cabin bags there wasn't much space and we couldn't fit our bags in the storage under the bed. The cleaning is optional which showed as there were random hairs throughout the bed when we lifted the covers. Not sure I'd stay there again purely for the fact it was just too cramped with our luggage, but for a short stay it's ok.

The location was amazing, so close to the centre, great cafes and food close by. Our bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good for 16€ so we couldn't complain. The team made a great coffee each morning, and I loved the unlimited coffee with breakfast. Check in was pretty seamless and we could choose the type of room we had with no additional cost.

Not having a minibar in room, which wasn’t a big issue as u can get whatever u can from the canteen on the 1st floor

The location is premium, close to metro 2 min walking. Easily accessing all areas ( markethal, main shopping area at Beurs, central station). The bed is so comfy and room size was amazing. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.

It is not possible to open a window in the rooms for fresh air although the ventilation works great.

Perfect location. 1-minute walk from Rotterdam Blaak train station. Efficient check-in and check-out. Modern facilities. It's very convenient to control everything in the room. You can also store your luggage after check-out.

Next time I would book a room with a small kitchenette (if possible) as our room didn't have tea/coffee facilities or a fridge. In saying that the staff did provide me with a kettle of boiling water every night for my tea, so a massive thank you to them!

We stayed in a room which had the comfy King sized bed with blackout blinds. The room itself was on the smaller side but felt bigger with the high ceilings and large windows and it was very clean and comfy. The hotel is in such a central location with the metro right outside the front door and plenty of cafes and restaurants close by. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

The location, was very close to the train station and the ease of the check in was great. The bed was so big, you could have easily fit three people in there. The hotel has a modern and stylish vibe. You can control the lights, TV, blinds, curtains and temperature all by an ipad provided in your room. Great stay and I would definitely stay again.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom. It wasn't horrible, but the lack of ventilation might be the reason for it.

My first time at a citizenM and I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff. The lobby/restaurant was very work and relax friendly. The room itself was functional and I loved that everything could be controlled with a tablet.

10/10 stay at this hotel. Super modern, everything is digital in the hotel and in the room. Keep in mind the rooms are very small but it has everything you need and is perfect for backpackers or light travellers. The breakfast is also very good!

Location is fantastic - easy 5-10 min walk to centre, local gym, shops, metro/tram station. Friendly staff, great selection of cocktails at the bar, very easy check in and felt safe as a solo female traveler. I would highly recommend and will go back
