Very small bathroom and no cleaning of the carnets by vacuum cleaner. Carpet stayed dirty with small papers during our 5 day stay. Reception and staff were very friendly

The shower had no soap! We went down to the front desk, she gave us a plastic cup to put the soap from the sink into. The room was a bit stuffy, but we brought an electric fan with us

There is old and quaint…but this was old and in disrepair. Frayed and bleached stained carpet in room. Broken towel bar, no tissues. Beds were awful - no support (old)and ended up laying in U-shape. We felt “bites” at night from the sheets. (Although didn’t see any insects). Housekeeping and reception staff not friendly. View of property outside breakfast room was in need of weeding/cutting - missed opportunity to create something to look at outside.

Beds are okay but not very comfortable. The rooms are a bit noisy and hot in the Summer. Small bathroom without ventilation.

Breakfast was good with enough choice. Not terribly expensive. Plenty of parking space and the hotel had bicycles to rent.

Because of the heat we opened the windows, but an almost constant noise of probably an AC unit for the hotel was humming most of the time. the (Ecotap) EV charging station was not functional (though I don't think it's the responsibility of the hotel)

We liked the very big apartment, though it could need an AC, because outside temperatures were very high that night. Breakfast was of a high quality, Staff was very helpful. They do have 2 EV charging ports. The apartments was very clean too.

the beds it felt like we were camping there are far too narrow bedroom carpet was marked and looked unclean a workman work us up at 6.29am one morning due to his ladder noises

Need to remember, the building is over a hundred years old. Getting to your room was interesting. Needed to go up one flight of stairs, then down a flight of stairs, just to get to our room on the second floor. Weird. Bathrooms was very small. No air condition, need to leave the window open for the night. The morning dew smell was not appreciated.

A small town, unique Hotel. Room was your normal size. Beds was very comfortable. Beautiful bar and dining areas. A good place to rest your head for the night.

The room was located next to an old elevator, that produced a lot of noise. Luckily the elevator was switched off from 22.30, so it was actually possible to sleep. Overall the hotel room was already noisy, due to the lack of some insulation. Furthermore it was quite cold during the night in the hotel room and the bed sheets were too thin.

The staff was nice and helpful.

The floor of the room looked dirty, there was a hair in the shower which was not ours. The shower and bathroom are very small and uncomfortable. The beds were very uncomfortable and felt as if the springs could pop out at any moment. The bar should have been open until 23:00hrs and we were asked to leave at 22:00hrs already.

It looks nice on the outside. Breakfast was nice.

Place looked worn out carpets so dark and dirty. Bathroom had no place for toiletries. So basic and price was disgusting. Just got bill for 468 pounds 9p for 3 nights. Absolute robbery. Breakfast rubbish. No tea making facilities could have got a much better hotel for that price. Can not recommend this hotel. Everything closes around 2200hrs.

Rooms , beds en overall terrible showers. Even in the Army at the battle field the wet rooms are more modern as the one in this place.

We were in Apartment 10 in early December. Near freezing outside. The overwhelming issue, which spoiled our stay, was the cold temperatures in the rooms. The heating was inadequate, the bathroom radiator didn't work at all. So we were very cold and had to pile blankets on top of the beds to keep warm. Also the single bathroom is off bedroom 1, so anyone in bedroom 2 has to disturb bedroom 1 occupants to use it. The wc is possibly the world's smallest.
