The restaurants at the park were already closed at 8pm. To enjoy a late dinner was not possible ... at least one of those should be serving food till soemthing like 10pm , no ? For a late arrival this was difficult .... ;-)

The restaurant employees during breakfast were very loud and not at all customer oriented. They were not doing anything, just standing there behind the counter talking with one another. I asked them to be less loud, as they were updating each other on there studies, weekend plans, etc. Their only response was, ´that is why I don´t like the morning shift´, continueing their conversation. I later turned to their somewhat older supervisor (I think) when she entered the restaurant and just quitely asked if the personel could catch up outside of the restaurant, I got a blank response. They made breakfast far less pleasant, eventhough the view and breakfast itself were splendid.

We liked the location, the building is beautiful. With all the facilities of the parc next door, restaurant, small supermarket, swimming pool, etc. You are within walking distance from Groenlo City Center. We recommend the walk, which has a lot of unexpected surprises, such as a historical train rails, train, poetry, etc. Also the city center it self has lots to offer, like the cosy market square with lovely restaurants and bars.

The apartment was amazing, it was perfect for a weekend getaway! The rooms were clean and cozy, the kitchen area well-equipped for preparing a meal. The jacuzzi and terrace were a really nice addition. As we visited while the Corona measures were only allowing take-out, it was nice to have the option to order directly to the room from the restaurants in the complex. The city centre is also not very far, and it makes for a nice walk, will definitely visit again!

The food from the restaurant (not the breakfast which is very good but the one you order for lunch or dinner) could be better, it does not reflect the nice image of the hotel and what you get is not what you expect based on the prices.

Nice, spacious and comfortable apartment with a lot of space, kitchen and nice Jacuzzi! Very big balcony and very nice nature around the hotel. Great value for money.

- [ ] I was very excited about this place because it had 9 out of 10 score on Booking. But now I realize that this is 9 according to Dutch standards. The service is extremely poor, people are rude, they all look depressed and unhappy which creates a very bad vibe. They charge a full price to children starting 2 years old, even if they do not require a separate bed and only eat one yogurt at breakfast. All activities except for a swimming pull are at additional cost and they are not cheap (20EUR for one hour of indoor tennis court with very bad carpet surface / 24€ for 1h of bowling). One of the attractions was a 2h train tour around the city of Groenlo, which we booked because we were told it had an English translation, however when we arrived to the train, it turned out that the translating system was broken so it was all in Dutch only (we were offered a free bowling instead). The aqua park is actually a separate building so you have to dress up and walk outside to reach it, very inconvenient especially with kids. Food is mediocre and overpriced, which again is Dutch standard. although the breakfast was included in the price it was below average, little choice, not fresh croissants, bad coffee. When booking a dinner be careful as the kitchen closes at 8pm. Jacuzzi in the room is a nice addition but trying to use it proved to be almost impossible, besides 20 minutes after using it, it scared us and woke up our kids with very loud cleaning noises which lasted for a few minutes, and it wouldn’t stop no matter what button we pressed. On top of all this there is no one at reception, even during day hours, you have to ring a bell every time you have a question. In any case, if you are Dutch you will probably enjoy it.

You pay a lot for quality, but this time the quality was not what we expected! The spa was cold, the door of the room was broken, the payment was double booked, the staff was not really professional.

Last year the visit was great so we booked without hesitation for this week again. The room is big, cosy, clean and the beds are perfect. But some other things were not the quality standard you expect!

the hotel room was spacious, spotless clean and light. modern design and well equipped . swimming pool fun. especially the wild river it was top ride.
