It's a great place to stay, located close to the railway central station. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms. Fantastic garden and evening talks with all visitors and backpackers. Love this place 🥳🥰

Only thing was that there wasn’t much socialising. But I think that was because most people staying at the hostel were going to a festival near by. Events were made but no one showed up :(

If you'd force me to point out something bad it was only that the garden wasn't open past 10pm.

Awesome staff (you know who you are!), great location, great garden and the most cuddlesome cat you can imagine. Free coffee in the morning!

There’s only two showers for two dorm rooms. We got up early to make sure we could have a shower when we wanted, as saw people waiting at time.

The location was perfect and easy to get to. A short walk from Centraal station. The staff were all so helpful and friendly! Such good vibes at this place.

I may be wrong about this but access to the rooms is only by staircase (no lift) so those with mobility issues may be restricted in their choices.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels over the years and I really do think this may be the best of them! Beautiful communal areas and garden, super helpful staff, good quality dorm rooms, and decent numbers of showers and basins in respect of the number of guests. There were even supper clubs being held when I was staying - serving delicious food! Those who run the place clearly know what makes a great hostel. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Only downside was the bunkbeds. They are a bit unstable and shakes due to even little movements of people sleeping. Could wake you up if you are a light sleeper.

It was my first hostel experience and it exceeded my expectations. Location and cleanness was perfect. Staff were really nice and helpful, made my stay really comfortable. Super cool atmosphere, both guests and the place was really chill. Would be back again:)

The biggest bummer to start with was when I came begin of January in 2023. The season was very, like VERY COLD! And it was pretty cold outside, ASWEL as in the hostel itself too. Which to me was crazy. I can imagine the "fake" energy crisis we're being pushed in, but you just CAN'T safe money on a warm household where many people are staying in. Specifically not in this season with this terrible cold. Many people complained about it for a long time about it too. Usually the heating should be 18*(which it should be), but it was even on 15*, which to me is just not okay. In the end it go fixed and set on 20*, so that's appreciated. So this alone only took down 1 full rating point. Other smaller bummers were gas furnace+stove. Seems its old and pretty troublesome in working (it served it purpose, perhaps an idea to exchange it, as many struggle with it usage?) and the shower. Another thing is the dishwasher, it seems that it isn't working anymore properly, as many dishes and cutlery aren't many times pretty good washed / dried. You see stains AND food leftover crusts stains on it... Which kind of is.. yea... (Perhaps it served its purpose too.) And as last, the showers should be somehow exchanged for better ones. Not on sensor but that people perhaps can self decide the water temperature with perhaps a rain shower and a normal shower head and different pressures? And the weird warm-cold-warm switch was somehow really annoying. Please take these hints as a collective of shared thoughts. Many people mentioned it and I'm just sharing a collective of thoughts on certain things. But all in all, this place is amazing! 7.9, and deff worth to visit.

I've been staying there for a very long time. Never in my life did I stay in a hostel, so this was my 1st experience with the concept of hostels. It was a very awesome one to start with!! I'm full into hostels now and love to explore the differences in different hostels too. The vibe there was really cool and awesome and pretty family-type of stay. Pretty close to the main public transportation stations & close to the city center. The decoration and vibe of the hostel itself is pretty cool and different, love all the little extra's to discover. The staff is good in knowing how to filter the right people to allow to stay and which not, because of the safety of others. As someone who looks in pretty many details my end rating is a 7.9
