may be the rules of government, cannot cook, but still can use microwave. good for 2 people, if 3 people, it will be crowded, for us 2, not enough space for packing luggage , we are holding suitcase the bed is too high for us (asian girls) , but we understand, haha

easy to check in and check out, location is good, just take the tram to central easily, you can have good sleep, it is quite. There are lots of free food and drinks in the refrigerator. We are 2 people and we can sleep separately, 1 in the sleeping room downstairs, 1 on soft bed on upstairs I love the windows can enjoy the sunshine and have a look to the river price is reasonable, ams accomodation is expensive

what a lovely place to spend some days in Amsterdam only some minutes away from the central station very quiet by night cats are strolling two wonderfull bars 2 minutes away . the beds are perfectly comfortable the bathroom is great and the shower only knows one temperature = hot :-)) the kitchen is well equipped, perfect for breakfast . perfectly clean overall . WE LOVED IT

Was a little bit small but I was in a group of 3, If I was travelling with my partner it’s a fantastic size for 2 people.

Great location walking distance from the centre. The stocked fridge was very much appreciated from the hosts.

Housekeeper came in almost an hour before our checkout time while we were still preparing, luckily I heard the door and went to tell her to come back later.

Nice unique place, great view, quiet neighbourhood and comfy bed, although it was a little high and deep. A great place if you don't mind the 10 to 15 mins walk from train station.

Fantastic property, comfortable, beautiful and very well equipped. Located in a peaceful gorgeous area, while the walks to the city centre and close museums and amenities were very pleasant. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Amsterdam. Great communications with owners, who were super helpful and provided all those little extras that make a big difference. I was really worried about not being able to park nearby however it was really easy to drop our stuff off and we used the P&R at Zeeburg2 as recommended by the hosts it was really easy. Just two stops away by tram and cost €1 euro a day if you use the tram to get to the houseboat and back, (you must follow the instructions carefully and scan your public transport tickets in and out to get the deal) we did this for the whole 3 days and when we returned our car was fine.

Fantastic location, such a lovely walk into the centre, only 15 minutes along the water. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the kids loved the bath and the lights. There was an amazing selection of food and treats in the fridge and the property was clean and modern. Highly recommend Hannekers Boom at the end of the road, a bit pricey but the food was great, a lovely vibe in there and a great view. There is a supermarket on your route into the centre just along from the floating Chinese restaurant. So we just picked stuff every day walking back from exploring. The New York pizza opposite the tram stop was also good but again not cheap. We did get the tram into the centre once but then realised how short and lovely the walk is so we just did that each day. If you have kids with you highly recommend the science museum over the water very short walk, you can also just go into the science museum roof garden for free too , which is nice for all ages :) Ewould was such a great host and always there if we needed him, and it was lovely to meet some of his family :)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BnB Waterhouse. Very clean and only about a 30 minute walk to the city centre (5-10 minute Uber). Ewound went above and beyond! Even filled up the fridge and communicated affectively the whole time.

We absolutely loved the boat house it was absolutely amazing. The bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was incredible. The area isn’t too far to walk from the station and it’s nice and quiet. Ewoud gave us lots of recommendations and was very friendly when we met him to check in. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend.

Coffee maker challenging. Easy to drop in pods; often not punctuated, bent by machine so unusable; water ended in tray instead of cup????? Had same challenge with like machine in Iceland. Had problem with wifi but owners did finally get message for server change through. Partly our fault - no roaming on phone.

Appreciated yogurt, cereal and croissants. Maybe jar of instant coffee would be good back-up. Written instructions for operating lights, shower etc. very useful. Finally found back route into location from train station - 15-20 min. dragging a suitcase! Owners accommodating letting us drop off luggage early in day.

Location on the outskirts of the city. 10 minutes walk in to Central Station. Host Ewoud was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble for him. Great houseboat, well equipped and some lovely goodies left in the fridge, beer, wine, water, Coca Cola, along with breakfast items and an abundance of tea and coffee! Beautifully clean and well presented! Recommended great local bike hire! Plenty of space to lock your bikes outside the house at the end of the day! Lovely bar at the end of the street, (multicoloured one) however we struggled to get a table at the weekend as it was very popular with the locals. We will definitely visit again!

Bathroom upstairs from sleeping quarters but we were aware of this when booking. Please note that the stairs are spiral and very narrow. This was not a problem for us but could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Communication with property owners was very good . Any questions were answered quickly and they made themselves available if you needed anything during your stay. In fact they sent a message a day after our arrival to ask if we had any questions or concerns. We arrived at Amsterdam airport prior to check in time and they were able to accommodate our early arrival. The houseboat itself was equipped with some fresh fruit, coffee, basic condiments, and a small well stocked fridge with goodies! Soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as a hairdryer were provided in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Ample supply of towels. The neighborhood was quiet and the houseboat was within walking distance of a tram stop and less than a mile from Central Station. We were able to walk to a few very good restaurants.

Location is perfect. 2 mins walk from tram stop which is 1 stop away from Amsterdam central. Heated floors, lovely view of the river, bath was amazing! Property was so clean and tidy. Host left food and drink in the fridge for us which was ours to eat / drink. Lovely location great host.

Everything! Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. So many generous touches from the host which made us feel so welcome. The well-stocked fridge was a wonderful surprise - enough breakfast items for the three days as well as wine, beer, snacks and fruit. Also generously supplied with toiletries and everything we would need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely return!
