Hotel looks quite old, rooms and bathrooms looks like they were not renovated for more than 25 years.

I had booked and paid for a room with sea view but got one facing the car park. Beds are hard but I solved it by putting the two over mattresses on top of each other. No room service in 5 days was unexpected but they replaced towels and emptied the bin…

I attended a conference and the other hotels were very expensive or very far from Rotterdam. So I felt the deal was good in the circumstances and was positively surprised after reading many bad comments. The room was spacious and the location is good. It’s also an interesting concept staying on a Chinese boat in Rotterdam. The park nearby is very nice.

The room, even though was clean, had a permanent smell of cigarettes, probably because of the carpet. We didn't realize it was a smoker room when we booked, and that is on us, but the fact the windows couldn't be opened at all made the smell very pungent, made a bit worst by the fact it was somewhat hot when we were there. I would suggest the hotel to make a bit clearer they have both smoker and non smoker rooms so people can chose. Also, the lack of outlets was a bit of a problem, since we had a few things to charge and only 2 outlests in the whole room where available (the others where taken by the A.C. unit and the tv.)

The hotel is quite nice, the location was good for a leisure trip, with a bus stop (both normal and hop on hop off) right in front of the hotel and one of the touristic atractions of the city pretty close. They also have a park right in front, making it a quite nice place to relax as well. The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious, specially considering we were in the water. The bed was quite comfortable.

The air-condition in both rooms did not work. Opening the windows did not really cool down the room, but instead let a couple of mosquitos into the room. The high room temperatures made the conditions in the rooms unacceptable. At least, the reception offed us the option to cancel the second night without costs as a response.

In general, the rooms were good and clean. Having a supermarket and a restaurant in the same building was also nice. There is enough parking place next to the hotel. The price for parking is acceptable, if you park only over night.

The rooms are very hot in summer (I would guess 30°C) and the AC does not work. Leave the window open and the mosquitoes will get you (but it's better than roasting) The curtains were falling down and there were some stains on the floor.

The staff were very helpful and nice. Easy to bike to nearby places. Sheets were clean.

Our room had a very steep and narrow staircase to reach the floor. AC wasn’t working. No one could fix it.

Things are a bit old

It's a pittoresque hotel and there's parking around as well as good access to public transport. The view is amazing and it was quite a treat to wake up to the water.

its a bit far from the centre and the station, there are trams available for some of the way but no direct. the room also had very limited plug sockets as well as overhead lighting

the room had excellent views of the water and all the passing by boats, and the room came without the basics. there are few restaurants nearby but they do close early at around 9pm

Parking is advertised, but this is public parking which is very expensive and not secure. The room was very outdated..

The location is quite nice. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable.
