Location was beautiful. Good quality sandwich bar right next to the hotel. The people who work there are wonderful and very helpful. The balcony room is recommended, has a good view of the street and the canal nearby.

I thought it was over priced.

The staff were very courteous and efficient. Messages were answered promptly and the invoice was sent very quickly. The hotel was quite quirky and adequate for a 2 night stay. There are no facilities apart from bedrooms. Thankfully there is a lift as the stairs are very narrow. The complimentary mini bar, Ritual toiletries and slippers were a nice touch.

Very late check in times (3pm) the cleaners also took an extra hour to clean our room so got in at 4pm after long travel day

The walls felt like without sound proof . In the middle of night , we woke up with coughs of the next door guests ! It felt like he was next to us! Also for the last 2 days of our stay there were a renovation or sth In the building , we woke up to those noises . I guess when there is a construction in the hotel, it is better not to accept guests .

The design of the room was quite good. The location was amazing . I guess the hotel is renovated from an old Amsterdam apartment.

My room was by the reception desk, I would hear noise once someone is there

I had to put 9 not 10 because of late check in around 3pm and when I arrived (1st Jan) i had to wait even longer. Otherwise the rooms where in my opinion the one of the best option to find in Amsterdam with a convenient rate, espresso machine in the room is a coup de coeur for me, fatima the receptionist is a nice lady offered my coffee upon my arrival. So basically if I'm in Amsterdam again, you will find me here.

stairs were very steep and narrow and the lift didn't always work, but wouldn't put me off going back.

Confusing stairs but added to character once you get your head around them

However, being Nassaukade a very active area also at night, it was extremely loud during the evening & night. In the building across our room there were 2 big parties with DJ and music going on till 7.00am in the morning (it was Saturday night). For this reason it was not possible to keep the window open, which was extremely unpleasant for me. (I always sleep with open windows all year around).

In principle everything was satisfactory, the location is central and convenient to walk. The room we got had a nice panoramic view as expected and declared during the reservation. It is a couple of minutes away from Leidseplein and not so far from the beautiful Vondel Park, so it is truly very well connected.

The sheets and pillow cases were not clean.

Location was really good, there are a lot of good restaurants and cafes really close. 4-5 mins walk to Vondelpark and 6-7 mins walk to Museumplein.

Size of the room and there was very limited closet room. You can’t even open your suit case and was at the same time around the room. Size is very tiny and the room window overlooks the Main Street so there was always noise , unless you close the window and sleep .

The only thing that might be considered as a negative was the size of the room. But I guess that's expected considering how real estate is expensive in this part of Amsterdam. Overall nothing major.

It was a great location. In walking distance to the main attractions of Amsterdam. I enjoyed my walk from the hotel to the city center. The room was also comfortable with almost all the amenities that I could expect.
