How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Wonderful stay in this hotel. Quick check in by lovely lady, didn’t get her name. Very clean rooms, walk in shower. Coffee machine with all supplies replenished each day. Location was a nice walk to the Dam Square and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Everything was perfect, will definitely stay again on my next visit to beautiful Amsterdam!

Nothing to dislike.
Four star standard. Contemporary interiors in the bar and reception area. Gorgeous fragrance in the communal areas. Welcoming and efficient staff. Felt very safe. Liked the mini food hall in the main reception area.

We were not able to adjust the AC in the room and not very bright.
The location is in the middle of everything, you can simply walk around the city. The room was big and the bed really comfortable. The breakfast is various and tasty. Recommended for a nice and comfortable city break.

It would have been great to have a bit more choice of meals in the restaurant for evening meals.
This hotel was beautiful, with attentive staff who catered for our needs. The sauna was also an added bonus too! The breakfast was great with a good range to choose from. James was amazing, he made my mum and I feel super special. Thank you James for such great service 😊

All the staff were welcoming and the bar staff were knowledgeable about the historic aspects of the building. Convenient location, large and airy room in the annexe building with good breakfast and bar menu. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The noise level from the atrium during the night. Mostly is was ok but sometimes if anyone was in the atrium talking or laughing during the night it woke me up. If you're a sound sleeper like my husband then it's no problem. It wouldn't put me not staying again just something to consider.
The room was a good size and the bed was huge and really comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with really nice toiletries. The staff member that helped show us how to check in was lovely and friendly. Only spoke to one or two members of staff as we didn't eat in the hotel but they were all very helpful. The hotel itself is in a central area for what we needed, walking distance to most things.

One small gripe is that the room was in a different wing with a rather long walk from the main door, but it was not a great chore.
Massive room, excellent bathroom, comfy bed. On top of that excellent location, great bar with nice food and drink, and in general the high standard you'd expect from a Radisson property.

Bathroom / shower ! we requested twin room & came as two female and the room given was a disabled room and the bathroom / shower setup was made accordingly. Since there was no protection like a shower cabin, the entire bathroom was flooded with water when I showered. After showering, we had to clean the bathroom for half an hour so that the other one could use the bathroom comfortably and to avoid slipping and falling. It was not very pleasant to clean the bathroom after showering morning and evening during a short two-day holiday. Since we wanted a twin room, there might not have been availability, but I wanted the hotel to inform us of this. We could have used our choice differently
Superb location , easy to reach main attractions , many good restaurants around .

I appreciate Amsterdam is an expensive capital city, but nearly 300 a night is a bit steep...stayed in far more luxurious 4 and 5 stars elsewhere for less

No fresh air ventilation in the rooms because of the design of the hotel, cannot look outside from your window and no extra pillows. Uncomfortable sleep and room got really hot in the middle of the night
Perfect location - the rooms and hotel is good and the breakfast is decent, clean and friendly staff with bar and restaurant on ground floor. Good value for money considering the quality.
