How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The price of the baby cot indicated by Booking.com in the confirmation is not correct, the property charges a more expensive one.
Very good breakfast! Nice and clean room. Great location, very close to Germany and Belgium, also to visit Maastricht and surroundings. Very friendly staff, they help us out with every detail specially cause we had a baby of 15 months with us.

The beds were not very comfortable it felt like sleeping on the trampoline, we missed fridge in the room. The toilet paper was not the best quality very hard, and they didn’t have slippers only towels were provided
Hotel is in a nice location, staff is very friendly and the food was tasty

The hotel is inside the slope or the slope is inside the hotel, whatever is the answer it is amazing to ski, eat, drink and go to the hotel to rest. Perfect fun with family and friends.

Heating was off and took whole day to warm up, noisy draft in the upper level room, reception staff doesnt know the prices of the locker and how much to charge for it.

1) The room: two single beds and two sofa (single) beds for a family, although the booking was made more than a month ago. Small beds: feeling like you were going to fall down. 2) Toilet/shower with frosted glass, visible from the beds- completely inappropriate for families. 3) the heating did not work: the children (7 and 3 years old!) started coughing during the night. I went to the reception and was told that they were aware of the problem (and gave us such a room!!) and gave me a heater and her sympathy because there was nothing more they could do!!!
The location - Close to Aachen, Valkenburg and Maastricht.

Room 120 was extremely noisy even with ear plugs in. Sounded like the ski hall cooling system. Mattress was too soft for me. WiFi in room not available, signal was too weak.
Nice ambience. Skiing was wonderful. Also restaurant and ski hut.

Beds were very bouncy I prefer a harder mattress. Would have liked to have had tea and coffee making facilities

Resturant choice in evening was limited, probably due to the weekend being focused on race teams
We had a basic comfort room but it was excellent and very big. Being right next to the ski slope was such as time saver.

Two beds next to each other instead of one big 2persons bed..the room was dirty, the bathroom floor was not white anymore but yellow...it was inclusief breakfast, the dishes were wet..so My kids and I were not happy with the dirty stuff there
..but the location is nice, the roller coaster, the adventure valley and the ski part were very nice

The bed was uncomfortable, which was a real shame. Would rather not have to pay extra for parking, it would be better if the room rate was slightly more expensive to account for a parking space - just a slight irritation.
Great setting, good sized room, parking easy, good food, spacious bathroom. Great access to Snow World.

Old, way too expensive for what it offers, STAFF RUDE AND UNPREPARED !!! For this money parking should be included... Poor choise for meal lunch.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, the door of the bathroom/toilet wasn't great, if one was in the shower, one couldn't go to the toilet because that side of the door was open (we were 3 in one room)
The room was clean, efficient layout, nice view (3rd floor), friendly reception

The bed seemed to be broken. Was not very comfortable and moved a lot, when turning. The electric charging was a huge scam. 10kwh for 25 eur!!!!!!!! 3 time more expensive than other chargers. Be aware. No sign of price or anything. You get charged for parking and then they charge you this unbelievable amount for charging your car! Very disappointing... .......
