Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt was very hard to find a place at the restaurant, both at lunch time or at dinner time. I would definitely recommend to find a different location for lunch and dinner. The toilet has only a transparent sliding door, which means that you can see partially inside and there is no sound proofing. The shower also had a transparent door. The beds were quite small and moving around a lot, even through the mattress and the linens were very comfortable.
The view of the room was great, the room was big enough and very clean, with cleaning services daily. The breakfast was good and had enough diversity. The hotel has a great location, close to many hiking paths , bike paths , they have attractions outdoors and it was very easy to gain access to the ski slopes and rent the equipment needed. The ski slopes were well maintained, all the ski lifts were working and it was not too crowded.

NetherlandsA bit expensive for what it offers. Nothing beyond the ski complex. I don't think charging for parking when you're staying is appropriate. Not related to the hotel: the food offered in the bar of the ski complex is expensive and bad. It's not worth eating there.
Good accommodation. There is an electric car charger in the parking lot. The ski complex provides facilities such as a restaurant and bar.

NetherlandsAccessing ski slopes was extra(winter prices) even with a stay for 3 nights. Because it was the peak winter season, the staff was spread thin.
The ski lesson instructors were kind and helpful. Multiple restaurant options to dine in.

GermanyBreakfast is way overpriced for what they offer. It’s advertised as a buffet but the options weren’t that great for the amount of money you spend. I agree with others about the room setup. I purchased the Junior Suit and if you are traveling with friends and need the space, the way the bathroom/shower area isn’t ideal. The bathroom is on the first floor and only has frosted glass on the windows but you can see into the shower and toilet from the second floor. If you stay with friends and utilize the sofa bed downstairs, you will have no privacy when using the bathroom or sleeping on the sofa couch. The stairs in the junior suite were a little scary too. I twisted my ankle going down the stairs because of how narrow they are close to the bottom. The room was very cozy and relaxing on a Thursday but by Friday, more people utilized the hotel which made my floor very loud. I was woken up around midnight by all the noise, furniture movement, and loud talking by other guest on the floor.
The checkin/checkout process was seamless. The hotel sends you a link to do it all online. You just pickup keys at the desk and that’s it. Location was great. There are grocery stores and restaurants that you can drive to in 10 or less. The room was okay, the beds were comfortable. It was just my husband and me so the room setup was great for us but if traveling with friends, the way the rooms are designed can be a bit awkward. All in all, I would stay here again. I wouldn’t pay for breakfast and would get a regular room instead of the junior suite.

United KingdomIt's not clean - had to ask the staff on 2 consecutive days to vacuum the floor and a comfort room is cramped for 4 people. For a snow hotel there is also no area in the room to dry out snow gear.
