I didn’t like the fact that it’s right across from a school as well as the breakfast is on the main level coming and going are a disruption

There was no place to put clothes away, no shelvings or drawers at all, only 4 or 5 hangers and with 3 people having to live out of suitcases the room got quickly messy. There were nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom either, no hooks or rails.

The hotel is conveniently placed with easy access to centre of town and museums but also in a quiet residential area. The room was spacious enough for the three of us with comfortable bedding.

Poor, dark reception area with confined space for very ordinary looking breakfast. The reception didn’t feel like a three star hotel but the room was very good and above average for this kind of hotel. The air conditioning wasn’t particularly effective but a handy fan was also provided. A soap dispenser would have been better than single use plastic.

Our room was very good with a balcony (although there appears to be only a few with these). Clean, well laid out. Hotel is located in a well to do area and very handy for the Van Gogh museum. Easily got to from central train station on the 2 or 12 tram to very near the hotel, just off Museumplein. The dingy reception didn’t feel like a three star hotel but our room with a fridge was above average for this kind of hotel.

The key to the room was not working at times, due to low battery of the mechanism - a bit of a bother.

Excellent location - convenient transportation, right across the museum area and park, very easy for travel. Room small but relatively comfortable. A coffee machine in the room was GREAT!

Good value for your money, excellent location near museeums and public transport. Many good resturants nearby and close to Vondel Park. Quiet rooms but there's a elementary school outside, so some noice expected during the day. The area felt very safe and clean. Our company didn't feel worried walking home at night.

Cant beat the location, especially if you're keen on hitting the museums, which are all literally on the doorstep. Tram route is right outside the hotel and overall the hotel meet our needs for a quick in and out visit. The gent who checked us in was super friendly too and we got an upgraded room which was a bonus.

Room is very small, but that is europe, especially Amsterdam.

Location was fantastic. Not on the canals but directly next to museums and short walk from canals. Great food options right next door. Beds were fantastic. Staff was unbelievably accommodating with our special requests.
