First night on the 1st floor was very noisy - we could hear the tram, crowds, club music outside. We were very disappointed. Thankfully, the next day we were moved to the 4th floor with a different view which so much quieter. The rest of our stay was great.

Everything! The location was extremely convenient, the room was very comfortable, spacious and clean...and everything was working. There were so many delicious options for breakfast and comfortable seating. The Vic's bar was an amazing place to relax and unwind in the evening with lots of fancy yet affordable drinks and snacks. Most of all, the hotel was very responsive to our needs and the room was prepared as requested when we arrived.

A great expensive property. Not sure about the value for money. Only provided drinking water on arrival - at the rates charged they could at least provide water daily! Basic amenities like soap and shampoo were provided but no toothbrush kit or shaving kit or sewing kit, etc.

It is an excellent hotel from location, to comfort, to staff to cleanliness. They had renovated it since I last stayed here and it is very 21st century inside while still maintaining the old facade on the outside. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities a traveller could want, of course these days extras are not available anywhere so no toothbrush/ paste or shaving kit. The beds were very comfortable. The location is just across from the Central station, tram and metro. Also just a few mins walk from Dam square so lots to do and places to eat. The staff were extremely helpful with guiding us on what transportation to use, what to do, getting tickets, etc. all in all a great experience and would love to stay again

Great location! Across the canal from the train station .. a simple walk. Our room had a beautiful view of the Canal and the Train Station at night all lit up. Canal cruises are right across the street. Easy walking to everything. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Very clean and breakfast was great. Easy to get here from airport via train. Would definitely stay here again!

Not a fault of the property .. but on many sites it says parking is available .. which it is .. but a 5minute walk away. You can’t actually stop near the hotel to drop your luggage off. And to get the discounted parking rate it needs to be prebooked - neither of which were explained clearly.

Very central location. Rooms are on the smaller side but comfortable and clean. Gym was fabulous. There is a restaurant but we didn’t get to try it as we were out most of the time.

When we first arrived, we were early and so needed to store our luggage first at the hotel. A hotel staff asked a staff at the concierge to help with this. His reply was a brusque "Wait, I am busy!". We can understand if a staff is busy but there is surely a more polite way to ask us to wait, especially since we were not rude to him/hurrying him. However, the first hotel staff responded very well - he immediately said to us, it's OK, I will take care of it and brought our bags to the storage room. So the recovery service was excellent.

Excellent location opposite Amsterdam Central; good concierge service for booking restaurants, good range of coffee and tea, Executive King room is large enough and can choose a room facing the canal (and Amsterdam central station).

The pillows on the bed are a little tired, lumpy in parts. Breakfast buffet was cold even when arriving at 7.05am for an early start.

Excellent location, remodeled and clean building, friendly staff who helped in many ways. The vicinity to the Central train station was very helpful since most of the tours started from there.

We couldn’t have been treated any better. Spacious rooms, our bed was huge. Power shower which was easy to use and a lovely bar to relax after a day exploring the city. All the staff were attentive and friendly
