Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThere was nothing I did not like. But, If it was up to me, I would invest in an upgrade of the building; it is a cosy place with lots of possibilities.
It seemed like a smaller kind of family hotel, I like that scale. Room was nice including tea/coffee making facility. Outlook on the garden and terrace (I asked for a quiet room hence (I guess) a room at the back, nice! Friendly staff. I did not have any breakfast, so no input on this. Really nice that hotel has a private parking (away from the street). Close to museums etc.

United KingdomThe worker on night duty did not know much about the working of the hotel. He was unable to help with telephone charger. He told me night shops nearby may be able to help. When I went out, it was very late but there were no night shops anywhere in the vicinity of the hotel open that had electrical goods.
General staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. One female member of staff was extremely helpful with telephone charger.

the room is very spacious, the staff are very helpful and welcoming, the location of the hotel also puts you at the center of the city so it's very easy to get to attraction sites.

Good location in a nice neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants. Easily accessible to the train station via bus and tram. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice garden in the backyard where you can have breakfast. Bikes for rent on the premises. Coffee machine in the room.

The room was air-conditioned, the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The wifi and facilities are well functioning and the room was well-lit! The staff members are also very friendly and they circled the main attractions in Rotterdam for me on a map.

DenmarkThe Museum Park and other city highlights in easy walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and smiling. Breakfast (for me a big thing :-)) is varied and adequate. There are different juices, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs w bacon, different yoghurts, granolas, small sweets, and much more. In my opinion, worth the 15 euro. There is a coffee capsule machine at the room as well as tea, milk and cold water in a small fridge. The view from the room was surprisingly pleasant, overlooking a small garden belonging to the hotel. At the garden, you can enjoy the breakfast or just a cup of coffee.

SwitzerlandNot all staff was friendly towards us, not all our English was perfect, but apparently someone from the staff wanted to kick out one of our friend out the hotel room, because of a misunderstanding in reference to the booking, even tho they’ve booked the night already, a blond and a middle aged man where pretty rude towards us, probably because we seemed young, nonetheless we had a great stay.
The property was really uncomplicated, concerning finding public transport or the market. There was this one really kind woman belonging to the front desk staff who was overly kind and helpful towards us, gave us all kind of tips about the city so delightful, they where all very efficient, additionally the breakfast was exquisite. Overall exceeded my expectations, never slept in such a comfortable bed for a long time. Everytime we came back to the hotel, the bed was made ugh, would totally recommend it to anyone who visits Rotterdam!!
