Too expensive , the heater didn’t work( or the area too cool?)… I suggested just stay at alesund and day tour to Geiranger. That’s will enough to scenery ( stunning fjords)

The location easy access to every area.the breakfast excellent.

Toilet seat was loose, a totally minor thing :-)

Breakfast was amazing and we got an upgrade to a higher tier room which was a nice touch. We checked in really late and the receptionist suggested us an open restaurant to get food at. Perfect.

What we didn't like about the hotel was that the mattress was too soft for us, so it wasn't so good to sleep on.

What I liked was the location of the hotel. It was a short walk from the ferry to the hotel. Check in was very quick. The room was nice and warm, so it was nice to warm up on the couch after the freezing weather outside. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was very pleasant. The view of the fjord from the room was wonderful. The view from the restaurant during dinner and breakfast is equally beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful, a large selection, everything was very tasty. The staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you for the late check out. This gave us time to walk up to the waterfall after breakfast, and then after lunch we were refreshed and could take the ferry back. Unfortunately we could only spend 1 night here this time, but we really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful surroundings so out of season.

Breakfast cold but cook made us fresh food and coffee so not so bad.

The views on the fjord. Private balcony. Comfortable room. Heated floor in bathroom. Quiet. Very nice venue. Can’t beat the views!

Two things we didn't like: 1. We paid for a room with a view facing the fjord. It was lovely until the cruise ships arrived and parked directly in our view...very close. That was quite disappointing. 2. As I mentioned above, this lower section of the hotel is tired and needs some updating; however, it was very clean and everything worked just fine.

The setting of the hotel is wonderful. The new addition higher on the hills is fabulous. The lower original section where we stayed is "tired" and needs some work. The room was very clean and the hotel serves a fabulous breakfast.

The facilities of the hotel are a little old, not so well kept and also the level of cleanliness did not meet my expectations.

The hotel is located in a great location near the docks of Geiranger. The staff was nice and the food at the hotel was good.

We were not allowed to check in early and I do not think there was a reason for this. We were in September, there were no bus tours and the hotel was not full.

This room had the best view of any place we stayed in Norway! It has a balcony directly overlooking the Geiranger Fjord. It is hard to leave the balcony to explore the area. The town is very small but fun to explore. A must do is the walk up the waterfall that is next to the caravan park, beautiful. Wonderful breakfast included. This is the only big hotel in this small town and it is pricy, but the view and breakfast are worth the money.

The fjord view was not like the one pictured for my type of room. I could barely see the fjord over the front building of the hotel. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Great location, very close to Geiranger Village especially once I discovered I could access through the gift shop.

In general the hotel was good. It is just a bit old. No amenities except liquid soap + Shampoo in the shower. The price is high but this is quite a general price in Norway so we were not so surprised. The staffs were nice and helpful.

Location is very good. Close to the port, shops, restaurants. Good view from the balcony. We stayed at Room 704.

Hairdryer went pop on first day and despite taking to reception it wasn't replaced. Minor issue.

Location Location Location Simply its all about the Location, perfect setting overlooking the Fjord. We had a balcony with fjord view, which was perfect. Small town, but with enough small shops and restaurants to pass our two nights. Plenty of activities in the area, water based and inland. We did the Waterfall trail and hired a small motorboat aswell. Nearby viewpoints inland are definitely worth a visit. Overall hotel was comfortable and a great breakfast.

The staff attitude is very rigid. I stayed with them for 3 nights. I requested a late check out at 12 30 pm. (against the official time of 11 a.m.). Even though they were having free rooms, they would not extend the time unless I paid extra. I was not delighted by such a lousy attitude.

Location is fabulous, in the center of the village.
