Prior to checking in an email was sent to me with a questionnaire to fill in so that I could check in before arrival. Seeing as I was arriving at the hotel past midnight, I did this. I filled it all in and gave card details as requested. I still went to check in on arrival at around midnight and when I woke 8 hours later I had an email receipt informing me of a charge of my stay. I had already pre-paid for my stay when I booked. The hotel charged me again. No warning was given when I arrived that this would happen and it should not happen anyway as I had already paid for the room. When I went down to the desk in the morning I was met with a frosty reception and no apology was given. It was implied that it was MY fault as I had given a different card upon the email check-in than that from which I pre-paid!! My fault! Then I was told it was also because of the recent change to the 'booking in system'. I could not believe the cold reception and the implication that it was my fault as well as another set of excuses!! NOWHERE did it say in the email check-in that you had to use the same card throughout the stay - which is nonsense. It was a business stay booked under a business card and I used my personal card for check-in. Mistakes happen, but the manner it was dealt with was POOR. Especially for front of house. It really put me off my stay. I was refunded but no apology was given and I was left feeling ashamed that it was my fault. It wasn't. Don't bother being efficient and following all their pre-check-in process. Just check in at the desk.

Great location in relation to the airport and where I needed to be. With regards to staff, the restaurant staff were fabulous. I can not say the same about the staff I encountered at the front desk.

Location is perfect if you're looking for something near the airport. It has a gym which I really appreciated and a restaurant with vegan options :)

Some of the rooms are really far from the reception, which can be a problem if you are carrying luggage. The more distant rooms seem older and worn out. Cleanliness was not the best.

The place was only a few minutes from the airport, and had a good breakfast.

The noise outside our room was terrible. There was a parking lot belonging to the hotel what was great but some motorcycles guys were just using their bikes to test them out while just chatting outside and under our hotelroom window. I believe the hotel should have reacted and ask them to park the motorbikes and go inside the hotel but they didn't. I had nothing to sleep. Also the beds were too short. We are not tall at all but the beds were to short and bed linnen too thin. It was a rainy day in July. The room was also dated and a little dusty.

The breakfast room and buffet was exceptionally good. Everything you can wish for during a breakfast was available. The bread was amazing but also the cheeses, salmon, meat and jams. Fruits, yoghurts and different type of milk (also taking into account intolerances). Coffee also fantastic. I also liked the location, although it was still a 15 min-20 min walk from the terminal. The lobby was nice and inviting with a gas open fire.

The free coffe was sour. The male staff at the social club/ bar looked overworked. Some of the staff in the reseption had poor language knowledge both in Norwegian and English which makes it difficult to reserve orders like for example washing routines and payment.

The breakfast was delicious. The lunch was delicious. The coffee at the bar/social club was delicious too. The panini in the lounge/reseption was descent.

Check in receptionist Charged for room upon arrival even though we had already paid,took two weeks and several emails to gain refund.Check out receptionist did not even raise her head or spoke when I checked out and said thank-you and goodbye,sorry for taking up your valuable time.....

It was very loud with the planes near me, not unexpected from being close to the airport, but given that this hotel is quite the drive from the actual airport I was surprised at the volume of it. The staff seemed rather bored and uninterested, and gossiped among them while I was checking out, taking no interest in customers. I also had a very unpleasant run-in with one of the staff members from the kitchen. I was simply browsing the lunch buffet and a chef yelled at me for being there without paying, although I had grabbed no food, and had no intentions of doing so either at that moment. I was encouraged by the front desk to go look while checking in, and so I did. The buffet was almost empty too so it's not like there was a possibility of me sneaking off with food. Just overall an unnecessary experience I could do without, and that brought my overall impression of the hotel down.

The room was bigger than I expected, so that was a pleasant surprise. Seemed clean and it was a modern facility. Also great with lots of TV channels to choose from. Quick check-in and check-out. Decent beds!

For an airport hotel, it's a shame to still have to take a cab to the airport - I assume most people staying there are doing so to be close to the airport - walking instructions or a shuttle would be ideal. There was also a strong smell of agricultural muck spreading throughout the hotel and restaurant, which wasn't that pleasant but isn't really something the hotel can control!

The breakfast and dinner were very nice and the staff were polite and helpful. In general the accommodation was comfortable and I slept well.

The first room I was given was actually occupied when we got to it?? Had to go back down and have them give me another one. Thats how we wound up with a different bed configuration.

Not a bad point but be aware of 30min walk from airport if you don’t want to get a cab

It was a short stay as our flight landed at midnight. Comfortable and clean. Nice buffet selection for breakfast
