Couldn't control the room temperature and the shower was a bit of a struggle

The closeness to the harbor and right in town. Ferries are right there also. The young man at Front desk was exceedingly friendly. His name is Mats and he was wonderful. He was very personable and showed genuine concern for us. We had driven 10 hours and were very hungry and tired. He found us a restaurant that was open on Sunday night. He is what customer service should look like.

No heating on the bathroom floor, meaning very cold after shower. The duvet not comfy enough!

Room was dimly lit despite plenty of lamps, and I could not find a possibility of increasing the light - but then I did not ask the staff about it either. Lack of space for luggage and no cupboard to put your clothes in. It is alright though, I guess, for a single night for a single person.

Amazing staff, comfortable bed, decent workspace, good breakfast, very clean, small but nicely designed bathroom.

Hotel staff were really nice and helpful. The accommodation is good with a great view through the window (sea view room). The location is great as well; I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

No office desk in my room is a show stopper for using this hotel again on business travel. Garbage cans in hallway to collect rain leakages from the roof do not give a high quality feeling.

Paying for parking. I needed to borrow a charging cable for my electric car, charger in parking lot doesn't have a cable. Charging stations in Kristiansand don't have cables, you have to bring your own. Would have been great if hotel had a cable they could lend to guests

We were tired after the last ferry from Hirstals and after a long drive from Germany. The lady at night reception could be more precise and patient while explaining how to get to the hotel parking lots and payment. However, the gentleman who worked on the morning shift was very professional, thorough, and flexible and made us feel welcome (I had the same opinion about him during my previous stay on July 23.). Besides the unpleasant check-in, everything else was good.

I did not find an intercom to connect to the reception from my room. Also one of the USB charging ports was damaged.

24 hours concierge service was helpful. The grenslos restaurant attached with Hotel was also very good.

I fail to see why this is a Radisson Blu hotel. Radisson are my first choice of hotel brand and I prefer the Blu hotels because they tend to be nice, modern hotels. In fact, on their website they describe the Blu brand as 'stylish and elegant' hotels. Well, this hotel is neither stylish nor elegant. It's a weird layout and old fashioned. Our bed wasn't at all comfortable which was another disappointing aspect. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

We booked this mainly for the location as we had an early ferry crossing from the nearby port. There is limited parking outside the hotel for a fee. We arrived mid-afternoon and got a space but it was already nearly full. The hotel is within a few minutes drive of the ferry port and it's also within walking distance of the harbourfront and town. There's plenty of places to eat / drink nearby. Our room was clean and a decent size. It was quite mild temperature wise during our stay but the room was quite warm - fortunatley the windows open so we were able to get some air. Breakfast was ok, very busy but they managed it well. Enough options for vegans which is one of the reasons I like Radisson because they do ok with this. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Great breakfast selection, but some warm things are already cold and taste wise a bit below the bar. No deal breaker though.

Neatly located to city center and bus/ferry station. Quiet, nice service, just a professional chain hotel, that gives you everything you expect.
