Beds were very soft, we were the last room of the corridor so didn’t hear for that side but heard our upstairs neighboor quite loudly when they were walking

Great location and friendly staff. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good, except for the coffee - although that seems common in Norwegian hotels.

It was a little outdated, not that it bothered us though. It would have been nice to have some better coffee in the room instead of the instant coffee.

Very friendly staff and nice looking hotel, the restaurant served some good food and the rooms were clean and served us well.

Everything was good

I chose this hotel to break up the journey down to Kristiansand and it did not disappoint. The room was large with a balcony, very clean and comfortable, restaurant was good and breakfast had a great choice. The site it broken into separate areas with hotel, cabins and camping. Play area great for kids, canoe hire for the adventurous and beautiful views. Staff were very customer focused, polite and helpful. One of the best hotels on our road trip.

We had the suite. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan in the room. It was very hot in the room and the hallways. A box of Kleenex should have been provided along with washcloths for the price being charged.

Nice style/architecture right on the water.staff was polite and multi lingual. Food in the restaurant was good and fairly priced. The suite was nicely decorated.

Great hotel, great staff. All were very friendly and helpful. Great diner and fantastic breakfast. Fantastic view behind the hotel at the water and mountains. We spent only one night, because we were travelling further north the next day.

Free charging of Tesla. When charging stopped unexpectedly, staff was very helpful in fixing the problem. Good location on our way to Kristiansand.

The hotel is close Rv9 but still very quiet. It was nice to have a balcony and the staff in the hotel and especially at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was delicious. It was a good place to stay for one night during our journey through Setesdalen.

Rooms were nice and functinoal but small. Bathroom shower fixtures and soap dispenser were hard to use. Clean and comfortable and the staff bent over backwaards to accomodate late arrival due to multiple construction road projects. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

The coffee at breakfast was horrible.

We had a brilliant cappuccino the first day, unfortunately nobody could repeat it afterwards. The dinner was really good!! Room was fairly spacious with good beds. The people at reception are super helpful.

Small and outdated room, very basic, bathroom was flooded after shower, mosquito and fly in the room

Beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and water, hot breakfast, right in the town center, free parking on site, hotel restaurant pretty much open all the time till 9.30pm, no reservation required, decent dinner menu and food tasted good, the gentleman who checked us in and the lady who checked us out were very friendly and chatty but other staff were a bit cold

We loved it completely, the only thing we did not like was the price as it was more expensive than any other accomodation we had on our road trip for the similar accomodation type..

Comfortable room and bed. Kids loved sleeping in an extra bed which was "in a wall". Good breakfast. Loved the outside, lake, playground for kids...

When having a shower, the water spread all over the bathroom, flooding the whole bathroom.

The location is amazing, so beautiful, as well as the hotel. Breakfast was fine, not that many things but just enough. Big room with a nice balcony. Fridge and water boiler in the bedroom.

Furniture and electrical room installations partly delapidated, maintenance missing, balcony could not be used/window not opened in the evening due to strong odours from kitchen exhaust air
