Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaGym dumbells, mats could be updated and aircon in Gym would have been nice.
Beach was lovely and pool excellent right by the lunch and happy hour restaurant and sea. We had a villa on the beach which was roomy and clean. All the staff throughout were helpful and friendly. To get to the local village (where SpaLinh and Tree top restaurant are recommended) go south on the beach past first resort and go through Mango Bay past the cemetery and out the main gat, walk a little further up and there, the quickest route. Breakfasts were great, plenty to choose from. Short Snorkelling tour South Island past cable car with onbird was great fun.

AustraliaOcean can be littered with rubbish depending on tidal direction. Government needs to address better waste disposal practices desperately.
If you just want to kick back and relax, escape the huddle and bustle it’s perfect. Staff are very accommodating Minor maintenance issues required to upkeep. Breakfast and one other lunch or dinner inclusive in accommodation package. Exceptional value

United KingdomMy only suggestion would be having signs asking people to be careful with rubbish as it was depressing to see so much plastic/rubbish in that amazing sea. I know it's a bigger problem, but that could help educating people.
We loved our stay at the Sea Sense Resort and definitely recommend it! The room and bathroom were very spacious as the balcony, and what a view! There was a cute hammock to relax on and hear the sea and birds. The resort is quite secluded so you can hear silence and the nature, so good! The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was so varied and all delicious! Staff were always so friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great just by the beach, there were always sunbeds available and lots of space everywhere. Watching the sunset there was very special! It's a bit far from restaurants walking but easy to get a taxi, we rented a motorbike and it was quick to get to other places.

United StatesThere's nothing that I didn't like, but what would've been great is if they have a fridge in the lobby that offered a selection of water, juices, beer, etc for the room if you didn't feel like going to the bar or restaurant.
I was looking for a place where the forest meets the ocean and this was it. Even though there were others staying at the resort, it felt like I had it to myself. It was separated from the city life so I could feel disconnected while still being connected (wifi was great). Each unit had it's own balcony and mine had a hammock. I sat outside and listened to the waves crashing while drinking my morning coffee. Also, they offered free paddleboards and kayaks.

United KingdomDespite its wonderful location, the sunset restaurant was mostly empty and the food could take inspiration from nearby restaurants.
Everything was amazing from start to finish, the beach was cleaned daily, the water warm, the pool was amazing, the staff brilliant, the buffet breakfast plentiful. To access the village and save a hike, walk along the beach to the next resort and take the path past the kitchen.

GermanyPool and beach area was being picked up by 6 PM, we didn't like it that much. They could also offer a shuttle to the city.
The tranquility of the resort was great, breakfast superb and our area was clean. Some comments mentioned that the little village was a long walk, however, there was a shortcut through the beach. Plenty of eateries around to enjoy at reasonable prices.

AustraliaThe food at this resort is over priced & not to the standard of the facilities. You need to travel elsewhere, either local village which is 30 mins by bicycle, or 5 minutes by taxi / motorbike. We also ate at the resorts either side, which both had excellent restaurants - Camia is 20 min walk. or via the beachfront to Ancarine resort is 5 min.walk.
We had a private pool room which was spectacular although the large central pool is also terrific. Good location on local sandy beach w nice views & plenty of day beds. Staff are friendly and helpful, speak English. Comfortable beds & lovely gardens.

VietnamI wish there were more non-fried food options at the Sunny and Sunset restaurants.
I absolutely loved my time here. I was traveling for relaxation. This location is perfect. The grounds were super clean and quiet. The view from my room was amazing. The staff were attentive and helpful. I was worried about staying someplace with a lot of children. Mostly couples and a few other solo travelers. It was so peaceful. I should also note that I visited in between 2 major holidays and that played a role.

DenmarkThe resort is very remote. 25 minutes walk to the nearest “town”-ish. Nothing to leave the resort for. Some nice restaurants a couple 100 meters up the beach though. The Wi-Fi is terrible, but the resort advertised with that in advance.
Beautiful rooms (double room with seaview), very nice pool area and nice with three resutaurants on site as well. Very very polite personnel in both restaurant and reception. Beautiful little beach area next to pool area. Very calm and not super crowded.

United KingdomTo enhance your stay I would recommend staying in a villa on the beach or in a room with a private pool
It was a lovely resort with good amenities. The beach and swimming pool are the best part of the resort. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It was my birthday during the trip and they went out of their way to make it feel special and even made me a cake. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but I wouldn't say luxurious. Breakfast was good with lots of options and an egg station with a chef.

RomaniaThe internet is very poor, although we had only good weather, no rain. I don't know how it would be good, maybe those golf cars should be able to be used for a fee from the resort to the main gate? If you want to go out in the evening, that hill kills you, especially if it's very hot.
Very nice resort. I got exactly what I wanted: beautiful and quiet place, cleanliness, beautiful and cheerful people, good breakfast with food for everyone. Large and clean swimming pool, wonderful sea view. The massage is amazing❤. I got what I wanted after 2 months of visiting Vietnam: total relaxation.

United StatesWalking to access local restaurants is daunting due to uphill section to remote gate entrance and distance. Scooter rental is cheap but will want one or need taxi. Aside from fabulous free breakfast paying prices for lunch and dinner is expensive and food not special. WiFi absolutely SUCKS except to walk to main lobby or restaurants area. Island of Phu Quat seemed just as busy as the rest of urban Vietnam. The southern tip like a crazy version of Disneyland. The Sea Sense Resort was, however, a paradise of tranquility.
Beautiful setting, quiet, spacious, every view fantastic, great pool, free breakfast simply the best with lots of options in huge dining area with breeze and views, lots of room to lounge on private beachfront…wonderful facility.
