    Cabin with beautiful view.

    Nothing.

The location and cabin experience was very good. It had a clean kitchen, clean sofa and dining area. Although the beds are little worn out, they were ok. The cabins are relatively old i guess so one should not expect top quality furnishing and brand new ikea beds. Sheets and pillow covers were provided as disposable ones upon entry. SO it was very good. But one sees bare beds and pillows may think than its not so clean. Since they are relatively aged it would be wiser for hotel to put sheets themselves and charge it up to the customer. I would love to stay few more days but we did not have time. I suggest this place to everyone. Cabin can accomodate 6 adults in 2 rooms with triangular bunk beds. (2 bottom 1 up)

Typical holiday park cabin in a beautiful location

While the kitchen had plenty of cutlery and earthenware, we found the assortment of pans somewhat limiting. There are essentially no grocery stores nearby that are open on Sundays, so a last-minute change in dinner plans can be problematic. Likewise, since we stayed at the end of August, most of the nearby restaurants were closed. There were a few places open still in Risor, but that's a good twenty to thirty minute drive. Likewise, many of the holiday park's own amenities were closed already, including the restaurant and the swimming pool. While we did venture out into the sea, the distressing number of jellyfish floating around kept us confined to our kayak and paddleboard. The provided pillows and blankets looked old and thin, but luckily we brought our own. That did not help much with the fairly hard matrass. Confounding this, the bedrooms had this odd one-and-a-half bunkbed that is quite common in Scandinavia, and I really wish it wasn't. The lower bunk is just big enough for two people if you squish together, but the wooden steps that lead to the upper bunk are positioned in just such a way that you'll bang your shins against them in the middle of the night. While the bathroom was clean, this too was austere to a fault. No hand soap, an old plastic showerhead, toilet-paper so thin you can read the newspaper through it. Not even a fan to air it out, so it stayed damp pretty much for our entire stay.

We rented a two-bedroom cabin at the holiday park, and found it to be a pretty typical example of such cabins (or stuga) in holiday parks around Scandinavia. Everything is fairly simple, austere even, but clean and functional. Even with four people, we never ran out of hot water for the shower, we had plenty of space to sit, and the kitchen was small but functional. Dinner on our balcony overlooking the fjord was quite excellent indeed. During our stay, we hiked up the nearby mountain for a breathtaking view over the peninsula, and we rented a kayak and paddleboard from the reception to enjoy the nearby waters. It is a nice and quiet area, with enough to see and do to stay entertained.

No handsoap in studio apartment. Small flat pillows. Wanted to rent extra pillows, but they don't have it.

The Camp is quite big and crowded, but nothing surprising because we was on July. Sadly if you wish rent a boat have book it as early as possible. We couldn't try it out because everything was fully booked. Studio nothing fancy, but clean and well equipped. Just for my surprise there wasn't any handsoap, so I bought myself. Stange because not first my rodeo in Camps and always there is some. Restaurant is simple with 6-7 pizza options and some starters. If you don't have your own food then it's okay. But for nice dinner not worth it.
