Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsParking is expensive, recommend to park down a few hundred meters for free. The 'two' person beds were 2 singles pushed together, they easily slide away from each other. We had a room on the corner of a hallway making it very noisy, especially with kids running around till 11pm.
Location is probably one of the better in Oslo, high up with panoramic view. The building/hotel look authentic, nice details. The food was nice, both breakfast and dinner.

DenmarkThe hotel does have a pool but you have to pay money to get in there. A different spa company is operating the pool and especially if you are travelling with children you can only enter the pool very early in the morning which is right in the middle of the breakfast time. Breakfast is until 09:30 which is also something that the hotel should consider of changing. It should be at least until 10:00. The hotel is good for adults but i have to say as we were travelling with a 4 year old it was difficult for us.
We went there to visit Biathlon and the hotel was right next to the stadium. Breakfast was good but for dinner I have to say the restaurant has limited option especially if you are travelling with a child. The hotel bar and the fireplace at the entrance creates a cozy environment. Already booked this hotel for next year.

United KingdomUnderstandably children are only allowed in the pool by reservation, 10 am - 12 noon. My only criticism is the hotel should split this into 2 x 1 hour or 3 x 40 minute slots, to allow more families to use it. Sadly we missed out. Otherwise a fantastic hotel and location.
Almost everything.

Sri LankaNothing to say bad about the place
It located in a perfect place in Oslo. If any one wants a perfect view this is one of the good option. Everyone who wants city and fodge view, please keep in mind there will be a option for less price, and you will be end up in ground level room with name sake city and fodge view 😁😁😁. It's a trap I guess. Better view in a best located room will be higher price .

Germanyonly 1 chair in a room for 2 people. beds are unusually narrow. I turn a lot, so every turn meant scooting back an forth to stay on the bed.
Atmosphere despite being a huge hotel very cozy. Size of rooms more than sufficient for 2 people. The breakfast buffet has a very big variety of selection and quality wise very good. Staff was very helpful with questions. Very short walking distance to venues of winter sport events.

SpainOne suggestion is to have a hotel shuttle to the city every hour, for example, during peak season (January, February, July, August, and September). Taxis are ridiculously expensive and every time we went to Oslo we paid around 40, 50. If you go in the morning and latter for dinner it will be around 200 euros in taxi.
The hotel is wonderful, it exceeded expectations. Very beautiful with an excellent breakfast. They gave us a room overlooking a snow-covered mountain.
